Can T-Handle Latch be Opened and Closed from Inside Trailer

Can you open and close the trailer door from the inside using a T-Handle type latch ?

The T-Handle Locking Stainless Steel Flush Door Latch # L4080 that you referenced does not have a handle on the inside to allow for easily opening and closing of the trailer door.

If the latch was not locked and the handle was sticking out in the position to be turned, depending on the design of the door, the latch may be able to be lifted up to open the door from the inside of the trailer. This would require you to have access to the latch and enough room to get a finger under the latch to lift it. However, if the T-handle is down or if the door gets locked there is no way to open the door from the inside.

There is no way to lock the door or put the T-handle down from inside the trailer.
