L4080 Not to happy the way the locking works on the lock it is not smoth you have to play with it a littlte to get it to lock, I have two of them and they work the same way.
Good construction, have not installed yet, but seems sturdy and up to the task!

I used this locking latch to complete the build of a gun locker in my patrol cruiser. It is Heavy Duty and works very smoothly. I feel my rifle is much more secure and well protected than before.

These work really well on my teardrop trailer back hatch . I did Paint black to go with the white and black theme . They seem to work well.
Latch was as described and a direct replacement for what was on my trailer box. The only difference was the new latch did not have hardware to secure it. I used 1/8 inch pop rivets. Quality looks good and box closes tightly.

Quality is very good. Finish is also excellent. I have now bought 18 of these and use them on generator cabinets. The only negative is the locking mechanism seams to have a little hitch in it but it has not been bad enough to stop me from buying them again. If the locking mechanism was a little smoother I would give them the top rating.
Good quality product. Durable. We use them on mobile machinery that has to perform in some harsh environments. We have bought 26 of them and the only knock on them is that the locking mechanism is a bit sticky. We now just put a little lithium grease on the back before install and that seems to take care of it. I will continue to keep buying them. They always ship quickly and the service has been good.

I ve received the item I ordered it looks like it’s of a good quality material. I’m disappointed that it didn’t come with fasteners to attach it to the tool box. I now have to go to a hardware store to buy the bolts.

I used this latch for the front door of my snowmobile trailer, it worked very well. I used security screws to hold it on, I guess you could also use rivets. Latch comes with a foam gasket to keep water out.
Was in a time frame for fix the boxes on our truck and etrailer.com not only had what I was looking for but had them to me in the time they said. Product fit perfectly and we are ready to roll.... Thanks
I bought two of these for a custom cap door on my truck. What is not listed that you need to know is that the cam is reversible so that you can make them right or left handed. Locks are very nice and solid.
