The replacement hinge you will want for your Thule Ascent 1100 Cargo Box is the Replacement Dual Force Strut for Thule Roof Box # TH14933. The hinge for the Ascent 1700 is different than the hinge for the Ascent 1100.
Thule has confirmed that the # TH14933 is the correct part for the Ascent 1100.
