Question:
I am looking at buying a 2011 GMC Acadia AWD. I want to flat tow it behind my motor home. I have an existing Blue Ox tow bar BX7330 Aventa. What do I need for a base plate, wiring, etc to complete the installation so I can tow it.

We can help you ready your 2011 GMC Acadia AWD for being flat towed behind your motor home. A great article that covers all the needed items is linked for you.
I checked the GMC online owner's manual for your Acadia and on page 10-88 it indicates the AWD version can be flat towed. Be sure to follow all of the preparations steps outlined in the manual each time you tow.
Since you have a Blue Ox tow bar I suggest staying with Blue Ox baseplates as this avoids the added cost and complexity of adapters that are required when mixing brands. If you have the Denali, use part # BX1696; if not then use part # BX1675. Since your tow bar includes safety cables you do not need to add those.
For a lighting kit you can use Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # HM56107 which is a simple plug-in install. You'll also want a fuse bypass # RM76511 to save you from having to pull fuses every time you tow and battery disconnect kit # RM-766.
For a braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR because it is fully wireless, portable and will slow your toad in proportion to the motorhome's deceleration. Use 12V outlet kit # RM-9332 to provide power.
Often a high/low adapter like # RM-076 is needed to keep your tow bar level or at least within 3-inches of level.
