I want an adapter with a female end 7-pin flat to a male end 4 pin round. does this exist? It is for trailer rear end lighting

I have some wiring adapter options for you, but if your vehicle has a 4-Pin round connector, like # PK11404, we only offer adapters to connect to 4-Way flat trailer connectors and tow bar wiring extensions like # HM47043 that you referenced.
If you're looking for a wiring adapter to allow you to connect a trailer with a 4-Way flat connector, like # 18004, to your vehicle's end 7-Way blade-style socket, like # PK11893 we have an adapter that will work great. For this set-up, you can use the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716.
If you need an adapter that will allow you to connect a trailer with a 7-Way blade-style connector, like # PK12706, to a vehicle-side 4-Way socket, like # HM48035, the Hopkins 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185 will be the solution. Keep in mind that if the trailer has electric brakes or 12V power accessories they will not work unless the # 37185 is fully wired to the vehicle.
Another solution is to wire together your own connector. This will allow you to use the exact connectors needed to make your trailer and vehicle.
