when you reference the factory cutout bumper, what are you actually talking about? any pics of that bumper? I have a 2007 2500hd 4x4 regular cab longbox with what I think is a factory bumper. Thank you

I did some checking and basically the cutout bumper is the regular factory bumper. The Curt hitch, # C15312, will fit up tighter and a little more recessed, apparently the same way the factory hitch does if it were installed. Some people like the hitch a little more tucked up and others don't.
If you want a little more room around the receiver then I recommend going with B&W hitch # BWHDRH25189.
