Question:
Hi, I just received a Tow Ready 118266 Replacement OEM Tow Wiring Harness for my 2012 nissan xterra. The wiring is not correct. theres constant power going to the trailer brakes. Ive read online that there is a problem but I havent been able to find a solution. it appears the blue and black wires are reversed. what Solutions do you know to this problem. thank you.

This is a fairly common problem actually. For whatever reason for some people when they go to install the # 118266 they find that the brake output and 12 volt accessory circuit are swapped which causes the brake to lock up all the time.
The issue is easiest fixed if you swap the blue and black wires on the small plug.
