You're worried about your teardrop trailer getting wet and dirty in storage before your next camping trip. Whether you're storing your trailer in the rainy northwest, snowy north, or humid south, this weather-resistant cover is designed for use in extremely wet climates so your trailer will be protected. When you keep your trailer covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it in between trips. And if you want to trade your trailer in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

Classic Accessories Gray and Snow White

The 3-ply PolyPro top panel has moisture-wicking technology that vents condensation away to reduce moisture buildup that can damage your trailer over time. It also beads water when it rains to stop it from pooling or freezing, which eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your trailer. And when the rain stops, the fabric dries quickly in mild sunlight to minimize the development of mold and mildew.

How to Measure Your Teardrop Trailer

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your trailer from the very front to the rear bumper. You don't need to worry about the length of the hitch in this measurement.

Then measure the overall height from the ground to the top of your trailer. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover to Your Trailer

First unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your trailer, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. When you're putting the cover on your RV, the brand logo should be positioned at the front of your rig.

Once the cover is in place, wrap the elasticized hem on the cover around the bottom corners of your trailer to remove any excess slack in the material. Adjust the tension panels on the front and rear of the cover with the cinch straps until the cover fits snugly around the contours of your trailer. Then toss the weighted straps underneath your trailer to the other side and buckle them together, which keeps the cover secure and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job. The tension panels will help reduce the stress on the cover while you're tightening the straps.

RPod Zippered Access Panel

And if you still need to winterize, you can use the zippered panel on the passenger's side to easily access the interior of your trailer without having to completely remove the cover.

Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe RV Cover for Teardrop Trailers up to 10'

Hi, everyone. I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. If you are looking to protect your teardrop trailer during the off season in the rain or in the sun or in the snow, the Classic Accessories PolyPRO 3 cover is what we're gonna be looking at here today. This is a really easy to install cover. It has a three-ply construction for that all season protection, but most importantly, it's designed specifically for the teardrop trailer. It'll fit around the different contours of your trailer.

We'll talk about the different size range that you could work with in that will work with this cover and all the other features of this cover right here at etrailer. Our trailer here is eight feet long, but it has a roof rack and it has a flat back. So the range of trailer sizes that this cover can carry is from eight feet up to 10 feet. But if you have extra accessories like this, or if you have a different shape back, like what we have here, that number might change a little bit. So if your trailer looks like this, then you're good to go.

And if you just hopped outside to measure to measure the length of your trailer, well, remember that the tongue of the trailer as well as the front area is not included in the measurement. You're gonna start at the front of the actual trailer body and then go to the back. What's also not going to be covered is your wheel wells if they look like this as well as your tire. So what a lot of people do is when they get their trailer ready to go into storage, they also have to consider taking things off of the top of the roof, getting separate wheel covers that match their wheel sizes, and also consider how they may protect the front of their trailer if they have other items like gas, storage, things up front. I get a lot of people ask me, "Why don't I just get a bigger cover then That will for sure cover everything." It's important to stay as close to the size of your trailer as possible because you want this contoured fit.

Imagine when it's snows during the winter time, any of the extra buildup in the fabric that's gonna collect snow weigh down on your camper and just really build up over time. So this here with the ability to cinch down on the fabric, move this around your trailer is awesome. And for those who do have their trailers parked in storage areas and they remembered, oh yeah, there was that thing I left inside the trailer, let's go get it for our trip or for the winter time. You do have easy access into the trailer, even with a storage cover on. So with just two zippers, you can zip this up and now you can get into your trailer.

You can roll this up and secure this in the upright position. That way, even though your trailer is in storage, you're not locked out. And custom to teardrop campers, there's also an opening in the back for your really large hatch door. So opening on the passenger side, opening in the back. Actually, there is no opening on the driver's side. So if you do need to get access to your favorite pillow or your stove kit that you left in here, those are your openings. Now, we've tested out this material that's covering everything, and we have some different layers that we get to look at here. The first layer is gonna be the side panels. This is gonna be a single ply polypro material. So you're gonna have a much finer mesh here. And this just protects your trailer from scuffs, from dirt, from scratches, things like that. Up top you have a three-ply protection, and this is gonna have a little bit more protection because this is what will have the sun on it, your UV rays, but also all of your snow and your rain. You do have some mesh side panels, and this is gonna be very helpful for if you have air vents in your trailer, just keeping that air flow good and less mustiness and mildew that way. Now with that waterproofing material, polypro is, the best way to describe it, is similar to the material of your mattress protector. So as water comes down on here, water just beads up on it, and if you have this installed properly, water should just flow away towards the sides and just back down onto the ground instead of building up on top of your trailer. But will, this cover actually last for multiple seasons That really does depend because that single material, yes, it does protect to some extent, but it also has to be thin enough where air can still flow through. So I've had experiences where I might have a very tight fit and I'm yanking on the zipper, and then it might start tearing, especially if there are sharp edges on each trailer. So if you really want the most out of your cover, I do recommend just keeping an eye out for those sharp edges. Be careful as you zip the trailer up and just note any tear or wear and tear each time that you have to store your cover away. And that way you can help this keep lasting longer. Properly installing this onto your trailer is very simple, especially compared to putting covers on larger trailers. This one's a breeze. The main thing here is just laying out the cover and then putting it onto your trailer. Keeping an eye out for making sure that the logo is towards the front. And earlier in this video I talked about sharp corners, just be careful of those corners. Once you have it over trailer, your cinch points are really gonna be those side straps on the front and the back of the cover, that'll really cinch down and get that fit. Now, I don't usually show the packing up process, but this is a big question for those that have to store away their RV covers. And my biggest tip for that is to treat this like a fitted sheet and also to follow the white box in the middle. That's how you get your sides in so that you can fold it up in half like this, and then fold one end over the other. See how it looks like this long shape now That will make it a lot easier to roll up and get into the back. The bag has plenty of room in it, so I usually just hold up another time that roll and look how much space we now have in our bag for our cover. So for those who are always stressed about shoving the cover back into the bag for storage time, this is actually a fair bit easier than you would expect. And this is what your storage bag looks like. You have that same polypro material along most of the bag with a little extra protection on the bottom, and this is how you would store it inside your shed, your garage, wherever you can while you are out in your trailer enjoying your adventure. So if you have a teardrop trailer and you're looking to properly store it during the off season when you're not out on great adventures, the Classic Accessories PolyPRO 3 is very helpful for keeping your trailer safe. Now it does have its pros and cons, so hopefully this video just kind of guided you, first, how to make sure it properly fits your trailer, what it's gonna look like with it on there, as well as how to get it all installed. Again, if you have any questions or if you're looking for other things to make sure that every single part of your trailer is protected during the off season, we're right here at etrailer to help you out. But today, this was a look at the Classic Accessories PolyPRO 3 Deluxe here at etrailer.com. My name's Evangeline and I hope you enjoyed this journey.

My RV came with this cover 10 months ago. I'm not a "5" for two reasons:

(a) The seam of the door zipper ripped right alongside the zipper in the first two weeks out of the box. I was able to repair ot with some fabric repair tape (which has held up better than the cover itself).

(b) The underside material on the white portions of the cover is starting to degrade and flake off after less than a year. This situation is noticeably inferior to an RV cover I've had in the from a different manufacturer, which held up for 3-4 years. But for the price of this one, if I have to replace it annually, I'm OK with it.

I rarely write reviews but was inspired by this RV cover to submit one and even include some photos to show tout the value it has provided me. I purchased this for a 2018 Leisure Travel Van Unity MB model. Results may vary depending on the size and shape of your RV. I really love this cover. It's light, breathes well, keeps my motorhome dry, and has velcro strips to hold up the cover where it matters - above the fridge/convection oven vent so you can prep for a trip with the cover on. There are also fairly convenient zippers that allowed me to leave the cover on and open the bedroom slide while a mobile tech service installed new seals on it. Regarding the weight, I can easily carry it up a ladder and throw it on the roof rolled up. Then go to the roof, unroll it to the back and flip the sides over by myself. My wife sometimes helps to save time. But I usually install and remove on my own. This cover is literally half the weight of a very high quality and larger cover that I owned for previous 32' C class. That things was brutal at about 85 pounds of boat like canvas that I had to lug up onto the roof. It was dangerous and I dreaded it. That one also cost about $700, nearly 10 years ago. So the price of this one is a great value. I was our rig after every trip and it's fairly quick and easy to get it on and secure the clips underneath. Yes it can be punctured and torn if you yank when it's caught on something. Don't do that! If it gets hung up, be patient and go free it up, and then pull gently when installing or removing. I can highly recommend this cover, but of course make sure you measure and keep in mind it is a universal fit. For the price and functionality I get, again I'm very happy with it and will buy another if and when that time comes.

Really appreciate all the detail here Blaine and thank you for including the photos. For someone who rarely writes reviews, you really hit it all here. Sounds like the Classic Accessories PolyPro is working out well for you and we're happy to hear it!

We put this cover on our 21' 2018 Keystone Passport Ultra Lite. It appears to be well-made and arrived shrink wrapped and double boxed. It took three of us about 30 minutes to put it on the camper. I think we could do it in ten on a second try. For us, it helped to unroll the whole thing on the ground, then pull it up and over the camper. We started by unrolling it on the roof per the instructions, but the way the sides are tucked under when rolled made it difficult to figure out the orientation. The gutter outlets on our camper stick out about 3" at each corner, and they made the cover VERY tight at those spots. We had prepared cardboard corners to cover the outlets but gave up trying to wedge them in. We could barely get the zippers zipped over the outlets. The straps all tighteted easily and seem to hold everything securely in the wind. The top front edge has a lot of extra material, since our camper is quite rounded there, and the cover has room for a more squarish top.

Last spring the cover rolled up easily and stored in the bag it came in. I was able to put it on the camper this fall by myself, with a stepladder and minimal cussing, in about 20 minutes.

by:
Lasted just over 2 years, I assume if it was sized right, it may have lasted longer. I searched the site and found posts saying the 20’ would cover my popup, upon getting it and putting it on, it covered from spare tire all the way to the hitch. Could not return it cause I opened it… used it anyways. Like I said, seemed to work pretty well but between the south Texas sun and being outdoors for 2 years it finally gave out. Will probably buy another one but I will ignore the recommendation from the site and use my own measurements.

Glad to hear we could get you your cover even quicker than expected Patrick! Have you been on any exciting adventures in your camper this year? Where did you go, what did you see?

by:
This is the 2nd of these I owned. I use them on our 2011 Lance 825 truck camper. The first one held up for years and when it got worn out of replaced it with another exact one. I chose Etrailer.com as they are always very fast in shipping. I appreciate that. Also equal to or lower in price than any other source I've found.
by:
Great looking and fitting cover. Has zippers and straps right where you would need them. It has ripped but that
Is because we have tugged on it when we should have been more careful. I feel like you have to accept that fabric may rip because they have to keep it lightweight so you can move
It around. We got a kayak pulley kit on Amazon to help lift it and then keep it in place because getting it on in the right direction was confusing.

Oo the pully is a great idea! Glad you have had a good experience with it as a whole. And you're right about the cover - if it were any thicker it would be even more of a beast to maneuver! :)

by:
Really like the cover! Fits good. Out mirrors on the windshield are wide and do not move in but really happy they covered the windshield. It’s looks a little sloppy fitting but covers really good! Very satisfied! Thanks for all your help!

This cover is exactly what I expected as it was a replacement cover for the one I purchased in 2019. I was happy to see that the cover is the same good quality as the one before it.This cover is used in Michigan so it is exposed to rain, wind, snow in and ice.

2017 Forest River Flagstaff Hard Side Camper
Fits well on our Flagstaff Aframe popup including our front toy hauler rack. However the back corner developed small tears on the initial fitting. We have reinforced those corners. We like the heavier ceiling material & that it is white which will reflect heat/sun/ UV rays better. We also like the 4 vents hidden under a flap (2 on each side) - that should help reduce over heating and moisture build up plus reduce wind damage. Rather than use the rope they supplied as tie-downs, we have attached strapping & clips for the front, back & to the 3 side tie-down locations. The storage bag is nice to have, although it should be larger. We hope the cover will last 2-3 seasons

As an update, the cover performed well they the winter snows & spring rains in Colorado. It also has with stood winds. We are pleased with our purchase and plan on buying the same cover in a few years. Our experience with these types of covers from our house trailer covers, are that they typically last 2-3 years. This is very reasonable given their low price.

by:
Just finished putting the cover on our pop-up trailer and it fits perfectly. Looks great. We have put a lot of time into restoring our old camper-lots of memories in there-and wanted to be sure it stayed nice and dry thru the winter. We are very pleased with your product and how easy it was to install also. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cover for their trailer. Hoping to see the inside of the camper is nice and dry in the spring.

Well, after the terribly long, snowy and severely cold winter we had here, I am happy to say our camper was completely dry in the spring. When we took off the new cover, we folded it up and put it in the storage bag that came with it. It was really easy and handy to have it altogether in a relatively small bag. So nice not to have to worry about any small leaks over the winter. Love your product and would recommend it to anyone needing protection from the elements in an area with harsh winter climates.

Great cover. Vented at the top. Zippers in all the right places to accommodate doors no matter where they are. Cover is breathable and seems to be great quality. Straps on the front and back pull the cover tight and it has several straps that go underneath to keep the cover from ever blowing off. The cover is soft and won't damage the trailer. The picture is a 20 foot cover on our Rockwood 2109S.

The cover has been awesome and my trailer looks like new when I remove it. Keeps all the leaves off the trailer and out of the AC unit. Use ball covers over the gutter spouts

by:
Initially liked this cover but it started to wear thru in less than six months on my popup trailer. I've bought tarps for much cheaper that have last 3-4 times as long
by:
I appreciated the fast delivery of my RV cover. This replaced a 20 year old ATCO cover that has held up amazingly well outdoors every winter. Sadly they no longer make that cover. The cover fit well, although it is too short. It left as much as 18” of my RV unprotected, and the RV isn’t extremely tall. 11’ I believe. The straps are way too short. The toss bag worked well, but fighting the clip through the loop in the bag was a royal pain. I expected there to be a clip on the bag which would have made using the toss bag a breeze.
I found installing the cover to be more difficult than my previous cover, and while I expected to be able to follow the instructions on unrolling the cover on the roof I ended up with a balled up mess that I had to struggle to untangle. Hopefully the next time I put it on the task will be easier.
by:
We bought this cover for our 2017 Ford Transit 350 high-roof van conversion. It fits well. Our van is about 19 feet long and the length of this cover was just right. It's a little tight across the top back of the van (maybe because of our solar panel rack), but it's a better fit than any other cover we tried (which were all way to baggy and loose). It actually has a lot more zippers than are shown on the picture; there are zippers on the front to allow engine access; zippers by each cab door; zippers half way back where slider-side doors would be; and zippers on the back to access the back doors. We'll have to see how long this holds up over time; the material looks like the same synthetic fabric that reusable grocery bags are made from. It seems breathable, which is what we wanted to prevent mold buildup. We bought this primarily to protect the van from UV exposure.

Won't know till the fall if it is the correct cover but the numbers match. Delivery time was very good day early. Have ordered from e trailer before with know problems. Thanks

While this is a custom cover meant for the small r-pod trailer, I purchased it for our ProLite Mini 13 based on recent reviews from others with the same trailer.

I was very pleased to see that the material and construction quality was similar if not identical to a number of excellent and durable covers I’ve used to store non-winter driven sports cars. However, the installation process was challenging for a number of reasons.

Firstly, after reading the Classic Accessories guide that instructed to unfold the cover from front to back on the roof of the trailer, I found that the manufacturer had folded and packed the cover incorrectly. Specifically, the cover was folded side to side instead of front to back, i.e.: the white roof section appeared at one end of the completely unfolded cover instead of appearing in the middle as expected. That meant we had to completely open up the cover on the roof of a car and manhandle it into place on the trailer after locating the yellow “front” label. The trailer is stored right next to our garage, so this task was not fun. We expected some fitment issues from a custom cover intended for something else, but not a packaging curve ball.

Secondly, (and I kick myself for not having noted this before we even started) the front and rear side profile contours of the r-pod are essentially the opposite of the ProLite Mini. So, not surprisingly, the “normal” fitment was unsatisfactory. After pulling and stretching to no avail, we still would have had poor rain runoff and unwanted Michigan snow buildup in loose folds at the at the front. So, we removed the cover and rotated it front to back for an almost perfect fit. It’s somewhat tight at the front and loose at the back, but much weather resistance than our first attempt. The only downside is that the zippered door section is now on the opposite side of the trailer, but it’s not a big issue for us.

As a sidebar, I’ve wondered why RV cover companies have neglected offering custom fitments for the Roulette ProLite line of Canadian trailers. Their market volume in the US and Canada is significant, and the weather conditions in Canada suggest a worthwhile sales rationale.

We received our new cover for our rpod 171 today, and it was very easy to put it over the camper, once we got it started. It fits as advertised, from the front to the rear, without covering the propane tank, but we were able to cover the spare tire. I'll update my review after winter when I know how it held up.

I have a 2017 Mini Winnie Drop 1790. Wanted a cover for the winter months to keep it looking great. Stumbled upon etrailers website but couldn't find a cover exactly for my trailer. Used the ask a question link and got a very prompt response. That was awesome. The email said this cover was for a R Pod but should work. It fits well except the left side where the plug in is located. I keep it plugged in at home to run the fridge. We had a pretty decent wind storm the other night and the cover didn't budge. Was about a 10 minute install with me and my wife with a couple step ladders. The zippered door opening match up nice for the door and rear hatch. Overall, great customer service and what looks to be a great product!

Don’t install the cover on a windy day. The directions should state that the white side is the outer side. Get the length nearest the length of your RV, otherwise there will be a large overhang in the front or back. The quality of the material seems sturdy and should hold up during high winds. The throw bag really helped a lot to get the straps under the rv and over to the other side. There are enough straps to hold the cover down securely.
by:
This cover did beautifully in the MN winter. My service technician that put the cover on said it was a beast to get on the rv but it was an excellent cover. The front of our roof covering separated from the front of the rv and he said the cover saved us from a watery disaster and a costly repair. Great product.

The rv cover after a year is great. It has held up very well in the MN winter weather.

We received our cover for the Class C unit yesterday, December 14, and realizing we are expecting a snow storm tomorrow so my wife and I completed the installation today.

We read the directions and had no choice but to complete the installation on a windy cold day. Very challenging experience unfolding this large cover while standing on the roof of a Jayco Redhawk with a wind chill of 14 degrees. Once I had it done with the front in the correct position my wife advised me that the cover is "inside out". At that point, this event became more challenging while I flipped it over in the wind. OMG.....I lived.

Attached are photos of the completed project that took roughly 2 hours and another hour to reposition and adjust the straps.

I have 2 suggestions:
#1-The front is marked with a tag. However, I wish it was apparent, while standing on the roof, what side was the exterior. My wife at ground level recognized the zipper was in the wrong position.
#2-You supplied a really nice bag that we fill with rocks. We used this, as instructed, to toss under the motor home once we clipped one end of the strap. It would be beneficial if this little bag had a "strap clip attached" so I did not have to tie each strap to the string.

Well tomorrow we are getting 6-8 inch of snow and my Redhawk is now covered. Yahoo:)
Thank you for providing a nice cover.
by:
I received the cover for my RPod in very good condition. The installation was easy by following the very clear directions provided with it. I am an engineer so I am overly critical of products that I use. This cover is very well done, it is form fit to fit my RPod perfectly which makes the covered trailer look nice this is important because we have to look at it all winter. I liked the extra touch of the weight bag to help get the straps to the other side. I attached the straps before starting to cover and this helped pull it over the top. Cover is well marked to get orientated properly before starting. I like the fit and should preserve the Pod well. I also used the storage bag for the cover to cover my gas tank. Thanks for the very nice product

  • Cover for 10' Vistabule Teardrop Camper
Hi James; with your 10' measurement you can use the Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe RV Cover for Teardrop Trailers up to 10' Long # CA44MR. Since you're right at 10' I recommend double checking your measurement to ensure it will fit. You should be measuring from the very front of the trailer (not counting the trailer tongue) to the rear bumper. As long as it is 10' or a little under you're good to go.
