Clearance Dimension of Curt Trailer Hitch C13149 on a 2016 Toyota RAV4

Question:

For the Curt 2inch square hitch installed on a 2016 Toyota RAV4 SE, can you tell me the ground clearance after install? I have about 18inch now and dont want to go too much below that. Thanks.

I was able to go out to our warehouse and measure the Curt hitch # C13149 for you.

From the top of the bracket to the bottom of the receiver opening measured 8-13/16 inches. If you currently have 18 inches from the frame holes of your vehicle, these are the hole the bolts of the hitch will install into, then you will have 9-3/16 inches of clearance from the ground to the hitch.
