Installing Softride SR25219 Anti Rattle Threaded Hitch Pin and Lock

Question:
Do I tighten the pin all the way before putting on the lock? I lost the directions.

Helpful Expert Reply:
To install the Softride # SR25219 anti-rattle hitch lock, you'd run the bolt down all the way. This pulls the shank of the bike rack tightly up against the inside of the receiver tube, preventing the bike rack from moving around in the receiver tube. When the bolt is tightened, you can then install the lock.
