How to Change the Lock Core on a RockyMounts Bike Rack

Question:

Im having a heck of a time removing the lock core from my rocky mounts brass knuckles. I have 2 of these bike racks and want to transfer one of the 2 locks from one rack to the other. Since there isnt a master key like yakima or thule, I have no clue how to remove them.

Like you said, there isn't a master key for the RockyMounts lock cores. In order to change out a lock core you will need access to the back of the lock. Then with a small flat blade screwdriver or a knife you can press down on the pin that holds the lock in the housing and then push it out of the front.

In the video I made, it is a Rhino-Rack part but the process is the same.
