I purchase the Replacement Truxedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fastener Code: TX1117876. I can not figure out how it fastens to the plastic strips that come off the bed rails and the Velcro itself is not wide enough to fit directly into the bed rail? Can you help me

The Replacement Truxedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fastener, part # TX1117876 is designed to work with TruxSport tonneau covers only. From the photo you sent it looks like you have a Lo Pro tonneau cover on your truck.

The correct replacement Velcro for your Lo Pro system is part # TX1115173. This is for 8-ft truck beds and is 1-1/4 inches wide, which will slip right into the track on your truck bed rails.
