Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at these replacement Truxedo Shur Bond fasteners. Now this is going to replace the Shur Bond fasteners on your Truxedo Low Pro tonneau covers for eight foot beds. And this fastener is going to replace the hook piece which attaches the tonneau cover to the truck rails. And the mating loop piece will already be on your tonneau cover. And this is going to slide into your rail for easy installation. It includes three rivets and then instructions are also included to walk you through that installation process.
And each of these are 96 inches long and one and a quarter inches wide. You are going to get two fasteners. And these are from Truxedo directly. So they are going to be exactly like the fasteners that you are needing to replace. Same material, same quality.

It was shipped quickly. I ordered for an 8 ft.bed knowing I would have to trim as I only have a 6 1/2 ft. It was easy to do. Drilled out old rivet, slid old out slid in new in cut off excess with utility knife. Drilled 1/8 hole using old hole on pickup as guide. Put in new 1/8 inch rivet. Holes top done now. I am excited to take it down the high way as old one flapped bad, I am confident this will work for me. Thank you

Pretty much a perfect on my bed. I just had to trim off an inch on both sides. Cover never been that tight before. Now the wind don't catch it blow it off

Excellent product, fits like a glove in the side rails. Roll-up cover is nice and secure and the side air is no longer getting under the cover

I purchased this to replace the worn out velcro strips for my Truxedo LoPro QT. I have the 5'5" bed size on a 2011 Tundra. Had to remove one screw from each side and pop the end cap off. Slide out the old, slide in the new, and cut to length with a drywall knife. Put the screw back in and that's it! Super easy and a great fit. Definitely secures as good or better than the original.

I'll admit, when I got these I had my doubts. Before I tore everthing apart I tested it out to see how well the hook strip would work. I tell ya the new design of the hook strips are AWESOME! Theres no way my Tanoue Cover will come loose now. I highly recommend them to anyone. Way better than the originals.

We ordered the replacement velcro hoping that would help our situation. The velcro is exactly what we ordered, but we ended up needing a new Tonneau cover. etrailer has the BEST prices that I could find online. I just ordered the replacement cover, new straps and new latches. Looking forward to having my cover stay in place and not flap as I drive down the road.

Installed the strips in a few minutes. Rolled out the cover then wanted to open the bed to get to a toolbox. These babies grip. I was surprised how much improvement I had. Simple to install but I did trim them different than directions. They said measure the rails and cut 9/16 shorter. I slid them as far in as they would go then pulled them out about 1/4 in and cut even with the rail ends then slid them back in. I noticed that the old ones were approx 1 1/2 in shorter than the rails. Maybe they shrank but who knows. Anyhow I think it may have been part of my problem as a crosswind would cause the cover to release from the rails. Don't think that these will turn loose as I really had to pull to roll it back with the new ones. Good product and delivery and service was very good. Recommend that anyone who has their cover come loose from the original strips to try these.

Holds like brand new on my low pro qt tonneau cover. Driving down the interstate with heavy sidewind and absolutely no issues. 5 minute installation.

I had replaced my Truxedo Lo Pro cover from etrailer a couple of years ago but I didn't replace the 'hook' strip on the rails. I ordered the replacement strips, received them quickly and it took me all of 20 minutes to replace them. Now my 2005 bed cover is as good as the day I purchased it. Thanks etrailer for your great inventory of parts and quick delivery.

The new velcro strips work great. They are doing a fantastic job of grabbing the tonneau cover and holding everything down. Cover no longer flips up when traveling down the road. I was so excited to be able to buy the velcro and new tonneau cover, instead of buying a whole new cover. Being able to reuse the hardware was a great cost savings and works as if brand new.

Great product and a definite improvement over the original velcro. These strips are more of a hard plastic, so I'm hoping they last better than the original velcro on my circa-2005 cover. Install was simple, even though my older cover didn't have screws holding the strip, but little slotted tension pins. I used a nailset to hammer them flush, slid out the old strip, slid the new strip in, trimmed to length, then hammed the pins from below to push them back up and hold the strip in place. Total install time was about 10 min.

Easy to install, the replacement is better than the original Velcro strip that comes in the Truxedo bed frame. I would highly recommend it.

etrailer is great. I’ve been using their product for over a year now and it still works Good as new. Just power wash it off now and then and your good to go. The Velcro strips were super easy to install and have incredible grip.

Never knew these strips existed. A friend told me about these and wow, it made an eight year old tonneau cover like new again. So easy to install I think my grandma could've done it! I even ordered another pair for a different friend. We are both very happy that our covers are not flapping in the wind any more. About 15 minutes to install. Thank you etrailer.
