Replacement Velcro For LGR-C55 Tonneau Cover

Updated 06/30/2026 | Published 06/24/2026

Question:

I need some replacement Velcro strips for a tonneau cover and am having a hard time finding the right ones. I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 with the 5’8” box. The cover is OEM with a bowtie logo. The existing hook strips are 1-1/6”. The cover has a sticker on it with model LGR-C55, serial No 10557 which tracks to an ACI Access cover. Their website only shows 1-1/2” strips. AI points me to your part number A60270 which is 1”. You also have Truxedo strips that are 1” TX1117877 and 1-1/4” wide TX1115173. What do you recommend for this cover? Thank you.

Hey Dan, thanks for the information! We've actually ran into this exact situation before with the Chevy tonneau covers. The Replacement TruXedo TruXport Shur-Bond Hook-And-Loop Fastener Strips for 6-1/2' Beds item # TX1117876 can be used successfully to replace the Velcro strips on your LGR-C55, serial No 10557 cover.

The Replacement Fastener Strips item # TX1117876 measure 80" long x 1" wide and come in a pair.

@James Thanks for the kind words James! I'm happy to hear you say that because I ran into a couple reviews talking about how bad the actual Velcro is that comes on those covers. I appreciate you taking the time to share that feedback!
