Troubleshooting a Loose Bearing Buddy Fit

Question:

I have the bearing buddy that is listed for my hub 1980, but it is too loose. Is there a way to expand the buddy? I dont want, nor do I have time, to ship mine to PR.

Unfortunately, the bearing buddy cannot be expanded in any way. What you would want to do to ensure a good fit for your bearing buddy to the hub would be to measure the inner diameter of the hub bore with a dial caliper # PTW80157. Once you obtain the proper hub bore diameter then you will want to choose a bearing buddy based on that measurement.

The next size up bearing buddy for your hub would be the # BB2047.
