Question:
jack was over extended now it will not retract motor runs but will not go down ? jack is about a mount old .

If your Ultra-Fab # UF38-944017 Powered Trailer Tongue Jack's motor still operates but the jack leg does not retract then odds are that one or more gear components in the jack are damaged. The motor itself is probably okay. We do offer a range of repair/replacement parts for this jack. I have linked a diagram showing an exploded view along with a parts listing. In some cases the jack may not be repairable, depending on the exact damage to it.
You can inspect the gearing components in your tongue jack to see if you can spot the item(s) that require replacement. The just let us know the part number(s) from the diagram and we can check with Ultra-Fab for availability of those particular parts. You will want to take note especially of parts 2, 3, 4 and 15 which are all gearing items and the parts likely to need replacement.
