Hi, Please could you recommend a trunk mount 3 bike rack for the new 2016 Volvo XC90 SUV? Thanks!

I do have a trunk mount bike carrier for your 2016 Volvo XC90 that will allow you to carry 3 bikes. It is the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3. It has an extra arm piece that will move the top straps up and over any hatch spoiler so no weight is put on it.
Another option instead of using a trunk mount carrier to carry three bikes is to install a trailer hitch and use a hitch mount bike carrier. You can use Curt trailer hitch # C13233. Then for a bike carrier you can use # TH934XTR (it's easier to get 3 bikes on a 4-bike carrier). Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements.
