Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Curt Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch receiver lock for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. This anti-rattle hitch pin is going to dramatically reduce any movement or vibration of your ball mount in your hitch. The included lock is going to ensure security for your hitch accessory. So again, this is designed for your two inch trailer hitch receiver and this is designed for use with ball mounts or hitch accessories with hollow shanks.
The diameter of the pin here is five eighths of an inch, so this is going to eliminate that annoying rattle and sway from your hitch connection. It's going to be secure, it's not gonna have to worry about any wobbling with this. And this is going to tighten inside the hollow shank for rock solid hold. So it's gonna be a very easy install. You're going to slide this block into the hollow shank, and then when you put that shank of your ball mount or whatever accessory into your trailer hitch receiver, then you will start to run this pin through and then you'll tighten it down.
If you notice, we do have a a lock washer here and then you'll tighten that down and then go ahead and attach this lock to the pin. It does come with two keys and then a cap there. Keep that keyway clean. So again, very simple installation. This will be ideal for your current accessories.
It's designed to work with your ball mounts, your bike racks, your cargo carriers. All of them of course, need to have that hollow shank. This is built for the long haul. This is a durable steel construction with a corrosion resistant finish and includes everything that you see here. I’m sure this fits some receivers, but it did not fit mine. When I contacted etrailer about returning it, they were a little sassy and then charged me shipping back and were very draconian about the return. I’ve ordered for several years from etrailer and always had exceptional service But this experience made me question their loyalty to me. They charged me $23 to ship the item back, I believe that was excessive I think on the website it should state it might not fit all receivers.
Etrailer has amazing customer service! The item are just as discribed and service was fast.
