Crown Gear Replacement Instructions for RV Slide Out

Question:
Iam an fairly decent mechanic . ....but.. have never replaced a crown gear on may 2008 32d fourwinds rv. Any videos or manuals available for help. Thanks you for any assistance you can give

I did some digging online to find instructions on how to replace the crown gear of a slide out.
First you will need to remove the retaining pin from the housing at the input shaft location and slide out shaft assembly.
Next remove retaining ring from housing at output shaft location and slide out shaft assembly.
Remove bearing retaining ring from shaft. Use bearing puller or press by applying removal force only to inner ring of the bearing or shaft.
Remove gear roll pin using pin punch with hammer or press.
Press gear onto shaft until hole in shaft and hole in gear align. Support the shaft near gear while pressing the roll pin into the gear and shaft hole. Install bearing retaining ring to shaft. Press bearing onto shaft until firmly seated on retaining ring.
Install bearing retaining ring to shaft. If gear has been removed, the bearing adjacent to the gear must be replaced. Press bearing onto shaft until firmly seated on retaining ring.
Check for noise, endplay, binding, and other indications of an incorrect assembly. If necessary remove retaining ring from output shaft and re-thrust assembly by adding or subtracting washers.
Replace grease plug.
