Question:
I see curt and draw tite hitches available for a 2015 hyundai genesis 3.8 sedan. Both brands say excluding awd. Is this because the hitch wont fit or because towing is not advised for the awd model? I have an awd model but I only need a hitch to mount a bike rack. It will not be used for towing and hitch, rack and bikes will total no more than 100 pounds. Thanks in advance,

I spoke with my contact at Curt, and he said that the Curt Trailer Hitch # C12086 is a fit for the 2015 Hyundai Genesis AWD. The trailer hitch's warranty from Curt requires that stabilization straps # 18050 be used when hauling all non-trailer loads, such as bike racks.
I have attached a link to all of our hitch mount bike racks that fit 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers. Our most popular hitch mount bike rack is the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. This bike rack has space to accommodate up to 4 bikes, will tilt away to allow access to the truck, and features anti-sway cradles to protect against bike to bike and bike to vehicle contact. I have attached a review video of this bike rack on a 2013 Hyundai Accent for you.
If you plan on carrying bikes with alternative frames, such as kids' bikes or women's bikes, I recommend using an adapter bar, like # 64005. The adapter bar attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem. This allows the bike to be positioned more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
