Question:

I have a 2004 Trails West Adventure 2 horse Stock Trailer with a tack room. The tack room door lock has been broken. Can you advise on a locking replacement for this series of trailer? Thank you.

I checked the Trails West website for any available information on the tack room door lock they use as OEM equipment on their 2-horse trailers but no details are offered. But you can just review the linked page that will show you our available enclosed trailer door locks, such as the Redline # 305736 and the Blaylock # BLDL-80.

I am having the same problem as John on my 2004 trails west trailer. You have info on locking the back gate to the trailer, we are talking about the tack room door latch. It is a rotary that is a 4 1/4 x 4 3/4 opening.

@AngelaY We do have some rotary latches that are made for the tack room doors, but nothing for a 4-1/4"x4-3/4" opening. For example, the Bauer Products Rotary Latch for Horse and Utility Trailers # BA85FR requires a 6" tall 4" wide cutout so it would require some modification of the door cutout.
