There isn't a port to plug in a brake controller on your 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The controller has to be hardwired in.
If your Jeep has a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector then you need installation kit # 5506. The brake controller should have come with a universal hardwire harness, # 20127. If you do not have it then you can just cut the connector off of the end of the controller.
The brake controller black wire will go through the firewall and connect to the positive battery terminal via the 30 amp circuit breaker included with the 5506 kit. The white wire will also go through the firewall and connect to the negative battery terminal for ground.
The blue wire will get routed through the firewall, under the Jeep, and to the back of the 7-Way where it will connect to the terminal in the 7 o'clock position. Be sure to avoid areas that can pinch or melt the wire such as suspension or exhaust components for all the wires.
The red wire will connect to the cold side of the brake switch which could be difficult to reach. It is located up above the brake pedal. There will be wires going in and out of it. You need to attach the brake controller red wire to the brake switch wire that only has power when the brake pedal is pressed. To find the right wire you will need to use a circuit tester such as # 40376.
If the Jeep does not have a 7-Way but does have a 4-Way connector you will need installation kit # ETBC7 instead of 5506.
And if the Jeep does not have any trailer connector you will first install a 4-Way, # 118416, and then install the ETBC7 kit. I have included some links that will help with this installation.
