Question:
I have the 2012 Frontier SV. The trailer running lights do not work so I bought the blue relay that is required. Where does this go? Does it go into the fuse panel or do I have to take the kick panel apart and plug it in there? The truck was pre-wired for towing and I do have the tow package but did not have the dealer install the trailer lights or hitch as they were WAY expensive. Thanks

This is a common issue on certain Nissan vehicles. You are likely missing a relay for the trailer running lights in the tow package wiring on the Frontier or the relay could have gone bad. Use the owners manual to find the relay and fuse locations related to the tow package wiring. The running light relay can be installed or replaced with one of the blue relays from the Curt Relay Kit # C57000.
One likely place for the relay is behind the passenger side kick panel. There could be a harness with 3 relays attached to it.
