Hitch Install Hardware Recommendation for a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen
Updated 05/28/2015 | Published 05/25/2015 >
Question:
I have a hitch from a wrecked VW TDI that I salvaged for our new VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI 2011. I need replacement hardware. The paperwork I have on the hitch and the UHaul sticker on the hitch say Curt and 29140. There seems to be a hitch from Curt that looks just like mine, and one of the numbers on a sticker on the hitch, that list it as 11072. Are these the same hitch? Do you sell a hardware kit for this hitch? I can sent the parts list from the online install instructions if needed. thank you.

Expert Reply:
The Curt Hitch part # C11072 that you referenced is the correct Curt hitch to use on a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen so this hitch will work for you.
To order the missing install hardware you need to order part # RHK. On the product page you would need to enter the part number C11072 and select Curt from the drop down menu. We will then send you out the correct install hardware. The hitch is no longer available but you can still get the replacement hardware.
