Does Curt Front Mount Receiver have to be Removed to Change Oil on 2015 Toyota Tundra

Im confused , i read that if i bought the curt mount hitch for my 2015 tundra that it does not need to be removed to do oil changes because of the skid plate ? but yet i have read from other buys that , yes it does need to be removed to do oil changes to remove skid plate ! What is is it ? yes or no ?

According to customers who have installed Curt front mount receiver # 31198 the hitch would have to be removed in order to remove the skid plate to change the oil. There are 3 solutions to this.
First, you could leave the skid plate off. Second, you could cut a hole in the skid plate for access as at least one customer has done. Or third, you could install an oil filter relocation kit # D15748 to move the filter to a more accessible location under the hood.
