Is Skid Shield Trimming Required if Door is Present to Access Oil Filter on 2021 Toyota Tundra

2021 Tundra 1794 edition TRD PRO drawtite front hitch question. My skid plate has a door I am guessing for oil drain and filter, In the video for 2018 Toyota suv not a pickup it said to drill a hole for filter in the skid plate. Not sure I would need to do that.. Can you explain?

The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65080 is designed to fit the Toyota Tundra starting with the 2007 model. It is likely that the door for oil filter access you're referencing on your 2021 was added later or is present in certain trim packages so the instructions don't reflect it. As long as you are able to access the oil filter there is no need to cut the 4" hole.
