Question:
Do I need a master key to install this lock in my crossbar feet? I have the regular keys that came with my cargo box already.

Yes, you will need the Thule universal change key, # 853-1251, to remove and install new lock cores. the change key pulls down all the tumblers so the lock can be removed or inserted. The existing lock, if present, will have to be unlocked for the change key to work.
