Can Curt Hitch # C47HR for 2020 Subaru Forester be Used with Vertical Bike Rack

I have been told this curt hitch cannot be used with a vertical bike rack such as the Thule Revert - but I do not see this anywhere on this page. Is this true? If it cannot deal with a vertical bike rack can it deal with a 4 bike platform rack? Thanks Ronan

Hey Ronan, I checked with Curt and their hitch part # C47HR should not be used with a vertical bike rack like you noted so that is a correct requirement.
It can be used with platform 4-bike racks like the Thule T2 Pro XTR part # TH69TX as they do not stress the hitch like the vertical racks. Did you have a platform bike rack in mind already?
