Are Replacement Hooks for Thule Raceway Trunk Mount Bike Racks the Same as Originals

Question:
Hello Ive just bought a recawsy 9002 XT but the top hooks have a triangle figure and theyre scratching my trucks roof. So mu question is: are these rounded intead of having a triangles figure?

I am not sure how the Raceway hooks are scratching the roof since they are coated and more or less rounded where they make contact with the vehicle. Make sure the thermo plastic elastomer sleeve is pulled up far enough to cover most of the hook that is exposed.
The hooks have not changed throughout the different generations of the Raceway series of bike carriers so # 8529665001 would be the same as what you have now.
If possible please email me some pictures of the part of the hook in question and the vehicle. You mentioned a truck, which the Raceway would not fit, but is it an SUV?
