Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule Replacement Top Hook. This is going to replace one top hook for your Thule Raceway, or Raceway Pro, trunk-mounted bike carrier. This is going to be an exact replacement from Thule for your Raceway and Raceway Pro, so you don't have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. This will attach to the integrated sheer-tight ratcheting cables to secure the bike rack to the trunk of your car. And because it is a direct replacement, you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original and it's gonna do a great job allowing you to get your trunk-mounted bike rack mounted back on your vehicle.

A speed bump made the original one fly off somewhere. I never thought that would happen. The bike rack is not as trustworthy without the proper hooks. The sporting good shops don't have them and you're the first and only business to carry them. Thule bike racks are not cheap so I would hate not to trust it or get rid of it because of a $20 hook. Thanks for carrying them and quickly getting it to me.
Hook and keys are intended for refurbishing a couple of Thule bike carriers. Hook matched those remaining on the carrier. Keys fit the locks. These items made for a successful refurbishment.
Nice to be able to get a replacement hook for my Thule bike rack, although these are rather pricey. Fast shipping.

I was very pleased that these hooks fit both my 10 year old Thule Raceway Bike Rack, but also fit the trunk openings for my Yaris hatchback. The old hooks were too thick, though they were fine with my Corolla. The replacement hooks made my Raceway rack usable, and I was able to take the bike for a nice long ride, without worries that the rack would come undone. The Raceway is a very sturdy and stable trunk rack, so I was thrilled these replacement hooks gave it a second life with my "new" car.

The hooks for the Thule Raceway carriers are kinda easy to lose. Thankfully, etrailer made it really easy to order replacements. The speed bump damaged my trunk lid and I didnt have faith in the rack to travel 1200 miles. I have since bought a hitch and a hitch style bike rack. Bad things happen when traveling long distances. It good to know parts are available quickly. We made it back last year because we could get the right clip. Thanks again
