Question:
I already have a 2-1/2inch receiver on my rv. What I really need is a 2-1/2inch extension to move the hitch out from under the rv. Will this part fit inside my receiver it looks to be the same size. Thanks.

The 18" Combo Bar with 2-1/2" Trailer Hitch Receiver - Unpainted # C49511 is designed for hitch fabrication and will not fit inside your 2-1/2" receiver as it is the same side of the receiver.
We do have a Trailer Hitch Reducer and Extender # HR26 which fits your 2-1/2" receiver and will extend the hitch pin hole out 7" to a 2" receiver. Currently all of our 2-1/2" extenders are also reducing the receiver to a 2" opening. The adapter will reduce your receiver capacity by 1/3rd and gives you a maximum trailer capacity of 5,000lbs with 500lbs of tongue weight. If using a weight distribution hitch the maximum capacity of the adapter is 10,000lbs trailer weight and 1,000lbs tongue weight.
