Do Long Bed Trucks Need Offset Adapters for Making Sharp Turns

hi.. can I use an adapter with a 7.5 off set on a long bed truck? is it safe? thanks

Typically long bed trucks do not need any additional offset to allow them to make a sharp turn. Usually that is only needed on short bed trucks.

If the offset you plan to use has been confirmed to work with the hitch you have installed in your truck you should be fine.

Here's the formula to use to determine if you have cab clearance.

(A + B) - C = Clearance
A = Distance from the gooseneck ball to the truck cab
B = Offset used
C = Width of the nose of the trailer divided by 2.
