Question:

Hi, The instructions specify that the locking know on the Thule Spare me be removed and replaced with a normal M6 bolt when installing the Thule Tram. Whats to stop someone from stealing the Thule Tram and Spare Me while attached? seems like its a spin of a few knobs and a couple turns of a wrench. Is there another locking provision thats available from Thule?

That is a pickle. But a simple cable lock such as # e98891 should be all you need. Use the Spare Me's cable lock as well and loop the other cable lock through it and attach to the vehicle somewhere. This set up would be more secure than the Thule locking knob anyway.
