How is the Rise Measured for Curt Euro Style Ball Mounts

Question:

I have been looking for the euromount drawbar with the most height and on Curts website, they list this one as having 5 1/8 rise and it is listed on your site ad a rise of 3 1/8, which is accurate and what is the difference if any in how they are measured? They seem to show the same dimensions other than the rise measurements. Thanks

On Curt Euro ball mount # C45592 we are measuring from the top of the shank to the point below the ball where it starts to go straight up and down. I have linked a video that should clarify this for you. Curt must be measuring to the top of the ball.
