Trailer Tires Do Not Spin True and the Wheels are Twisted/Bent

Question:

on my twin axle enclosed trailer I realized wheels on axle nearest to truck were not spinning true and when I checked it turned out both rims on that axle were slightly twisted .need suggestions as to cause . over load or under inflation .

It does sound like a possible overload situation. It is also possible that if you went up on a curb or something similar hard enough while loaded it could have caused the same problem.

You will want to inspect the trailer suspension. You will be looking for signs of were, worn, or corroded parts. Egg-shaped holes instead of round holes in the shackles or hangers indicates they need to be replaced.

Having the tires under inflated should not bend or twist the wheels. Trailer tires should always be inflated to the maximum psi indicated on the tire. If under inflated the capacity is lower. Trailer tires are built with a thicker sidewall compared to vehicle tires. If under inflated that thicker sidewall will generate excessive heat and lead to failure.

You are going to need to wheels which I can help you with. I would need to know the tire size and the bolt pattern. I have linked a help article to the right showing how to measure for bolt pattern. I will also need to know the trailer capacity or the capacity of each axle.
