If you have an ebike with 4 inch tires, the straps that come with the rack will not wrap around the tire. The Fat Bike Straps do the job well. Have used them for a little over a year with no mishaps.
Although we have not yet used the fat bike straps we ordered from etrailer.com, it does appear that they are exactly as represented, and will solve the problem of securing our ebikes to the Thule rack properly. What I am most impressed with, however, is the service we received from etrailer.com. I made a mistake and ordered two sets. George promptly corrected the problem and credited us for the overpayment. It was completely painless and without an ounce of frustration. We were kept informed of our order status from placement through delivery.
We have the Thule EasyFold XT bike rack and two fat tire Lectric XP-2 StepThru bikes. We needed the extra long straps because of the wide tires. They were easy to install and work great. Would be nice to include these in the purchase of the rack as it is advertised for fat tire bikes.
Very solid sturdy bike rack there’s no wobbly hitch and bike stands in place without having to readjust over rough roads. Though the ramp is pretty narrow and has an acute angle for my heavy big tire electric bike it does work great for my lighter small tire mountain bike.
Great addition to our motorhome: THULE EastFold XT ebike rack with THULE Extended ramp and XXL Fatbike Wheel Straps. Easy install onto motorhome, however, took a few extra minutes to line up holders to our specific ebikes. Once done, everything is very secure with peace of mind!!!
This bike rack is perfect for fat tire ebikes. It is easy to take on and off and the lock mechanisms provides security for both bikes and the rack. We found that the ramp was superfluous as it took more effort to use it than simply lifting the bikes onto the rack. We have traveled all over with this system and it is both sturdy and stable.
We really needed new straps quickly as our straps finally tired out after 5,000 pedaling miles in 14 months. Luckily, etrailer.com was extremely helpful and sent them out right away. Great customer service and great Thule Bike Rack!

We have been using the fat bike straps for over a year on our Thule Rack and have not had any issues with them. We carry a Rad Rover 6+ and and Rad Mini on the rack.
I have a first generation Thule EasyFold and a Rad Rover Step Thru Fat Tire Bike. I needed the straps to use the rack. Installation was easy, I screwed off the old straps and screwed on the new straps. They work with the fat tires and hold the ebike just fine.

I don't know what I can say good about this Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack that hasn't already been said before.
The designers of this rack knew what they were doing. As the old saying goes, "They Built A Better Mouse Trap"!
It's light weight but sturdy, secure, fender friendly, compact, portable, easy to install, no assembly or tools required and easy to load bikes on .
I was reluctant in purchasing this rack because of the initial cost but after much research I come to the conclusion as with many other purchases, that in most cases you get what you pay for.
I really like the one person ease of loading and solid method of securing the bikes, the built-in 3 security locks using the same key, the fold-up compactness for storage and the ramp to aid in loading our 63 lb. E-bikes.
If your spending $4,000 to 8,000 for E-Bikes don't cut corners. Keep them save and secure going down the road.
I highly recommend this Thule Hitch Bike Rack for E-Bikes.

Appears to be direct replacement for original straps but longer to accomdate fat tire bike. Precisely what I need.
I installed this on a Thule, T2 Pro XT 2. Not an exact perfect fit but it works on 4 inch fat bikes that couldn't fit the rack otherwise.

These straps are a "must have" for your fat tire E-bike. Thank you etrailer for the quick shipping. The photo shows the fat strap compared to the regular strap. For the price of this rack, they should include the fat straps.
After purchasing a Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack, I discovered I needed the Fat Bike Straps which are not included with the rack. As much money as this rack set me back, one would think Thule would include at least one set of the extended straps. Anyway, I searched online and discovered etrailer.com where I placed an order for the straps I needed. The transaction was expedient and flawless. My requested products were shipped immediately, arrived promptly (within a couple of days) and was well packaged. I highly recommend etrailer.com! High quality, easy to use, bikes are very safely held with locking security, easy to fold and store away.
Just remember to buy the extra longer straps if you have a fat tire bike. I would have liked to had it included since the rack is pricey. However, Thule makes a dependable, wee-designed product so we didn't mind as much.
