I have a great bike rack solution for you. For transporting a 56-pound e-bike on your 2011 Lexus IS 250c (convertible), you will be able to use a bike rack. However, unfortunately, given the specs on how our available Curt Hitch - 1-1/4" # C11047 installs, the 5-3/4" of shank length of the Swagman Current # S64678 is not long enough to clear the rear bumper. Also, even if the shank was long enough, the Current is only rated for Class II 1-1/4 inch hitches. The # C11047 is a Class I hitch that doesn't have as strong a construction as a Class II hitch.
For a great alternative, I recommend the Thule EayFold XT # TH903202. The EasyFold XT has a weight capacity of 65-pounds per bike and has a long enough shank to clear your rear bumper with the Curt hitch installed. It is also compatible with Class I hitches. It also comes with an interated ramp for easy loading. The independently-adjusting cradles also allow you to fit the bike without a bike frame adapter bar. If you have fat tires, you will need the fat tire straps # TH985101.
