Question:
HI I have two step through Aventon adventure bikes and went to an Orlando florida bike shop with one of the EVs to see which rack would be best, We ended up with the Yakima stage two and upon setting it up ourselves was very disappointed in it as the mechanism that was supposed to hold the rack inside the receiver did not work, and the pin that they include with the rack only goes through receiver half way. SOOO, my guy drilled hole through the hitch so we could take our trip. The j locks did not lock down, and all in all the rack was not what we expected for $1,000. Over the weekend I was rear ended, and the rack did save my Tesla from alot of damage, and did quite a job on the guys Toyota truck! Now I can get a new rack! Can you send me a photo of the EZ fold with my style bike on it and how do the adapter bars work? Would we need one for each bike? Thanks!!

The Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 would be a great rack to use with your Aventon e-bikes and you would not need to use the bike frame adapter bar as we have confirmed this with customers who have this rack and also your bike. You will need the fat bike strap kit part # TH985101 though.

Hi, I own both the Aventure 2 Step Through and the Thule Easyfold XT. I can tell you that you don't need an adapter bar. The clamp can easily fit on the bar that holds the seat post very securely. You do need the fat bike wheel straps to fit the 4" tires though sold separately.
