Question:

Will the Thule easyfold xt fit two rad expand 5 bikes? I see that it will fit one but I’m worried about two.

Absolutely, yes; a pair of RadExpand 5 electric bikes are 100 percent compatible with the EasyFold, which is the following part number:

The RadExpand 5 bikes weigh 62-1/2 lbs with the batteries on, and the EasyFold XT # TH903202 has a 65 lb per-bike weight capacity. Also your bikes fall right within the wheelbase range of the EasyFold, and the only other thing you will need if your bikes have the 4 inch fat tires is the Fat Bike Straps for Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH985101.

The EasyFold is a really smart choice for your RadExpand bikes because apart from just having the ability to carry your bikes, it is the simplest bike rack on the market to use. I am about to proceed w my thule Easyfold xt order but worried that the locking clamps on the rack wont work with the Rad expand 5 as the frame is 7.5 inches. Please advise. Thx

@DonnaP The clamps on this bike rack are adjustable to fit different size bike frames. It does have a maximum bike tube diameter of 3-1/8". When you are getting the 7-1/2" what are you measuring on the frame, is it diameter?

@DonnaP Gotcha, the Thule Easyfold XT # TH903202 is not going to work with a 7.5" bike tube diameter. That frame is a big larger than standard bikes which is why that wont work. I recommend taking a look at the Thule Verse # TH64SA and see if that is something that will work for your bike. This one is going to work with your frame width, but drops down to a 60lb per bike capacity. Let me know what you think of this one.
