Features to know about

Easier Entry with a Natural Step Height: 8" Drop/Rise with 20" Wide Treads

Each step measures 20" wide x 8" deep with an 8" drop/rise, so the climb feels smooth and steady instead of steep. The double-step setup is designed for entry heights between 19"–22", making it a comfortable match for most raised entrances. Users often mention how much easier it is for everyone to step in and out without feeling like they’re climbing.

Solid and Dependable Feel Underfoot: 300 lb Weight Capacity

The black powder coated steel frame supports up to 300 lbs and doesn’t flex when loaded. Each step locks firmly in place when extended, giving a confident, secure feel—especially helpful when carrying gear or helping pets and kids climb in. The rust-resistant finish keeps the steps strong and dependable season after season.

Confident Footing in Any Weather: Non-Slip Tread with Grip Tape Edge

The tread surface has oval holes for traction, plus a 1-1/2" wide strip of grip tape along the edge. Even in wet or muddy conditions, your feet stay planted. Reviewers routinely describe these as sturdy and sure-footed, a clear upgrade from the slick factory steps they replaced.

Simple Pull-Out Design That Works Smoothly Every Time

The manual pull-out motion slides easily from the mounting base and tucks back underneath for travel. At about 35 lbs, the unit operates smoothly without feeling heavy or awkward. When retracted, the steps stay secure for the road, ready to pull out again in seconds at your next stop.

Built to Last Through Years of Use: Black Powder Coated Steel Construction

The durable steel build with a rust-resistant powder coat stands up to frequent use and rough weather. Many owners mention how solid and well-built the steps feel once installed—it’s a straightforward design that just works, trip after trip.

I forgot to put up my steps one time when I left a campsite and completely mangled them on a rock. Dealer cost to replace $175. eTrailer < $90 for the exact same model. Thanks eTrailer for making my mistake less costly!

by:

Great Steps. Just like the orig ones!
These
Steps were put on New Camper
I had a accident and tore up the
Orig that came on camper.
This is a great company to order
Parts from! Deborah H and Michelle S
Excellent customer service!!!??
Fast Delivery Thanks!!!!

by:

The steps were exactly as specified and fit perfectyly on our slide in camper. Only difference from old step was where the drilled holes were .

by:

I forgot to pull up the steps on my travel trailer and destroyed them hitting a concrete pillar. These are an exact replacement and work fine. It's nice to have a place to get replacement parts without having to go to an RV dealer.

by:

I had hit a rock pulling out of a campground and bent my trailer entry stairs beyond repair. I ordered this from etrailer and received it in three days. It was the exact OE replacement for my Rockwood BHESP trailer. Easy to install--I used the box it came in to help guide it in place.

by:

This step was easy to install and was just what I needed to get that extra ease of getting into my popup that I needed given my original single step was too high off the ground. After a year of use, the steps are still in great shape and working awesome. We usually go camping 8 to 9 times a year and have had no issues.

by:

Needed a replacement set of steps for my travel trailer. etrailer product description had detailed measurements shown, made it easy to find the steps I needed. When they arrived it 10 minutes to install!

by:

Ordered the steps on Saturday and they were shipped the same day. Mr. Brown delivered them on Thursday and installed. Straight forward installation , no hardware included but it can be different for each application and it’s only six bolts . I ordered the double step as these are for a Toyota 4x4 RV we are restoring for my son , I was concerned that standing on the bottom step would bow them with weight that far off center . They seem to be good quality and only moved a small amount as expected. I bolted the steps instead of welding just Incase off-roading got exciting and something got bent, ( not my kid) ??. I would suggest using all six points of attachment for maximum strength .

by:

Now, these are steps! No more having a movable stool that gets moved to some other place than at the door. Just love them!

GREAT!!

by:

I bought these for are pop-up trailer. We bought the pop-up used and the PO raised the axle and put on bigger tires, it is nice but it made it a little higher then the wife could step, we use a portable step while camping but the grandkids always needed the step for something and the took it leaving the Misses inside. So I seen these in E-trailer and have dealt with them before and their service is always great and the products are first class.
Thank you E-trailer for being a great company.

Works perfectly. Was a different than the old 1968 single step so modifications to the Trailer were necessary. Fortunately I can fabricate steel and weld. This is Not a simple replacement. To complicate matters the old step was welded to the Trailer frame Before they built the Trailer.

by:

We had a single step that was to high a step. The double step has resolved that problem.

We had a single step on our trailer and purchased the double step. We are very pleased with the product and it is easy to open and close.

by:

The steps appear to be of excellent quality, and they fit into the mounting brackets of my old step. These steps replaced the manufacturer-installed single step, making it much easier now to get in and out of the camper. In my case, I ordered the stabilizer jack for additional support, since these new steps are much heavier than the single one they replaced, and this should relieve some of the stress on the mounts. The price was great, and delivery was quick. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

by:

My rating is no joke. Shiela C. was incredibly helpful, and she did everything she told me she would do. She kept in touch with me throughout the process, and informed me my package had been delivered the same day she told me it would be.

I will look forward to doing more business in the future. Thank you from a very happy client.

As always, I appreciate the time businesses take to follow up on services and products. The RV step that I received is everything I hoped it would be. Above all it’s safe and easy to use. something I rarely talk about when I need a product is cost, but in this case the cost of the unit and the installation that I paid was half the amount that the trailer dealer charged me on my original unit so I will end by saying I’m a very happy customer and I look forward to doing business with you in the future

The original single, pull-out step had been removed from the used camper that we purchased. After improving the floor and frame supports, the new SMFP-2120 double pull-out step fits perfectly and is much stronger and convenient than the original. As usual, your shipping, follow up and customer support was excellent. Thanks.

by:

They installed rather easy, on my installation,I had to add spacers to make up the difference between mount and steps. Not a big deal. I think they will work fine..great job etrailer for quick service and good prices..will be shopping here again, I'm sure!!

As a past customer of etrailer.com, I was happily suprised to find them via Google as a supplier of Flexor RV folding step. I had acceseed many sites, but had no confidence that what i was looking at woild replace the damaged beyond repair steps on my hybrid camper trailer. When I opened the etrailer.com web site, I looged into my existing account and started looking through products for an exact replacement thinking I would have to look at specs for each to see if the measurements matched. Imagine my further suprise that when I got to the RV folding steps product section, I was quiried as to the year, make and model of my Flagstaff Shamrock 19 camper and the exact steps I need were listesd and available. I just received them vis UPS Ground three days after ordering and I verified by measurement that tese are the exact match to the factory installed now damagd step. I will install them myself and save hundreds inmparts and labor over the estimate I got from a local RV sales & service outfit. Gotta love etrailer.com!!!

Great! Functions exactly as the original. I had a bit of difficulty installing it because of damage tio the mounting places on the RV, not the replacement folding step. With that overcome, the replacement steps have performed flawlessly.

by:

What I expected. Quality built produce. Installation was a bit more involved than I had hoped, but went rather easy.

by:

Due to the edition of an second axel and 14" rims existing single step need to be replaced. This step fit the bill perfectly bolt on no weld couldn't be easer good price..

by:

Bought these RV steps for our pontoon boat. They work great and make it much easier for us and our dog to get on and off the boat when it's moored at the lake shore. Great product at a good price!

by:

does not fit my trailer as cataloged 2019 rockwood freedom pop up but over all quality of product is good

by:

"Yea Baby!" My sister looked online for steps until she was tired of looking because she wasn't sure if they were the right size. I think I googled 22 inch steps and it led me to etrailer in just a few minutes. There I found a diagram that gave me the exact measurements of the mounting holes so I was able to see that they matched the previous ones. We ordered around 8 PM on Monday evening. The steps were delivered on Thursday. My sister installed them by herself using the shipping box to hold them up while she inserted the screws. They work perfect. The price was better than anything my sister had looked at. They arrived in 3 days. "UNREAL", but I'll take it :)

by:

The measurements were accurate, all the bolt holes alligned without problem. It was a very simple installation - 15 minutes. The steps work smoothly.

by:

I forgot to pull in our step to our trailer. It did not go well for the step. The step I purchased from Etrailet was an exact fit. Looks brand new!!!

by:

After adding a plate to one side of the step and
Redrilling to line up the existing holes, was bolted to the frame. Feels solid, durable and looks good.

  • Can Single Step of RV be Replaced by Double Step
Normally the double steps are a bit wider than the single steps, but the mounting hardware of the steps on the RV can pretty easily be moved if needed. Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps # SMFP-2120 will be your best option for fit. They measure 20-1/2 inches at the mounting holes and the bracket measures 22-1/8. To use these steps you most likely will need to move your mounting outriggers or go with new ones like part # LC301704.

  • How to Choose Steps for a 1973 Airstream Trailer
I am certain we have but I don't exactly have a way to look up which ones that was. Therefore, in order to find the correct steps you would need to measure the distance between your outrigger brackets. You can then use this information to find the correct steps for your trailer. You will also want to make note of the distance from the ground to the top of the outrigger brackets as this will also be used to determine how many steps you need. If you can't find a step that matches the mounting...

Hey Gerry! As long as the width and the mounting holes line up where your existing steps are you can mount the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs # SMFP-2120 using the top holes on the brackets.
