Question:

I want to purchase the lippert double manual pull out steps for my airstream, but the mounting holes on my trailer are 22.5 in.the holes in the lippert are 24 in apart if I use the outriggers will this be able to move the hole in to 22.5 in if not is there enough room on the lippert steps to re drill the holes to 22.5 in or do IHave to drill into the trailer frame to mount them or would IHave to mdify with angle iron

The outriggers part # LC301704 move the install holes of the steps out 1 inch on either side. This would put the mounting holes at 26 inches apart when installed on the # SMFP-2120.

There's no way to get this step to install using your current holes as they are too close together, but I am confident you could redrill new holes on your trailer frame or even weld these to your frame and they would work well. A qualified welder would have no problem at all attaching these to your trailer frame.
