In Item # SMFP-2120 The 23 and 5/8 dimension, listed 2x, seems relatively a bit too large/out of proportion. Please verify...

The 23-5/8 inch width is the widest point and is actually for the metal rod. The bracket width is 22-1/8 inches from edge to edge. I measured this product for you to confirm and have attached a photo to assist.
