Question:

I have a Forest River, Wildwood 261BHXL. It has Linnert 1step entry stairs and I wanted to change them with a 2 step. Will the Linnert 2 step just bolt in? Do you know which replacement steps I should look for? Part #? Thank you

You will need to take a couple of quick measurements to see if the replacement steps we offer will work on your Forest River Trailer.

One of the 2-step pull-out steps we offer is the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps, part # SMFP-2100. This has a retracted height of 9 inches and is designed to be mounted in a space that measures 27-5/8 inches wide x 12 inches deep. The steps are 24 inches wide. Per Lippert, the 2-step Lippert # LC432682 step will fit in the space that the single step was installed.

Both of these steps can be bolted-on or welded on for installation. I have attached a link to the RV steps we offer you can check out. You will want to make sure you have enough ground clearance to make the change from a single to a double step on your RV.
