I love it! Would buy again

by:

Ashley did a great job on my order, and I would call her again to place another order if need be.

by:

So far, we like it. Replaced a GE OE installed AC on our 2025 Winnebago EKKO. No more cold then stuffy cycles. Nice to have a constant temperature and it’s noticeably quieter than the GE.

by:

Replaced a Donetic and was best thing I could have done. Built in soft start, draws less amps, way quieter, and puts out more BTUs. Install was straight forward other than what I needed to do to make furnace work separately. Overall I recommend and easy install by myself. Hardest thing is getting unit on top.

by:

Great unit. Low power usage.

by:

Works well easy install.

by:

Arrived right on time. Have not had a chance to install yet.

by:

The install was easy and customer loves the ac. Just ordered another unit.

by:

I love how quiet it is that is the main reason i purchased it. I am wondering how it will keep up once it is at the temperature and able to maintain. It was in the highh 80’s yesterday and it seemed it couldn’t get lower than 72 which is great. So far i am happy. Extremely easy to install they have that nailed down great. The quality is great.

by:

Very easy to install by self and once I was aware on how the system was designed to work the AC works wonderful. The staff of etrailer was very helpful and patient. Special shout out to Rochell, Thank You

  • What do I Need to Change Out All 3 AC Units on My 2016 Dutchmen to the Furrion Chill 18K Ducted?
Hello Nathan , Looking to switch to the Furrion 18K, great choice! This year, new regulations were introduced for RV air conditioners, requiring a change from R-410A to R-32 refrigerant. This change helps reduce environmental impact and improves efficiency, a win for everyone! Since all AC units have been updated, you'll need a complete new setup in order for the parts to work. To make the switch, you'll want to order (3) of the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution...

  • How Does Ducted System Work With Furrion Chill Cube
Hi JD; the Furrion Chill Cube # FR49TD air distribution box has a vent on it you can open and close. See the picture attached below. When it is closed it forces more of the air through the ducted system. Assuming you have a ducted system you will need one of the following: -Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR39TD -Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR99TD -Furrion Chill...

  • Can Furrion Chill Cube Operate With RV Furnace
Hello Sam; that is a great question! I reached out to Furrion and you will be able to use the Furrion Chill Cube # FR69TD (white) or # FR49TD (black) with your furnace. However, the remote is not capable of operating the furnace at this time. Also, we have found that the included wall thermostat isn't always compatible depending on the furnace you have. My recommendation is to get the # FR39TD (black) or # FR99TD (white) and then add a separate thermostat like the Dometic Digital Thermostat...

  • How to Use Furnace With Furrion Chill Cube on 2017 Keystone Cougar 327RES
Hey Dusty! There is a lot of information out there right now about Chill Cube. Some of it is definitely confusing, especially when we have people trying to use parts that aren't designed for the new R32 systems. On top of that, the Chill Cube uses a remote which acts as its thermostat and isn't compatible with a furnace. There are two ways to make everything work together, I will give you both. The first is to get the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted...

Hey Adam! The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box item # FR69TD includes the wall mounted thermostat whereas item # FR99TD does not. You'll definitely need the one with the thermostat if you have a furnace. What kind of trailer or RV do you have?

  • Can I Install a Ductless Furrion Chill Cube in a Ducted Setup?
You sure can, Evan. The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless item # FR27TD will fit inside the same 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" cutout that the ducted Furrion item # FR99TD fits. The systems are set up entirely different so you shouldn't be blowing air into the vents anyways but it wouldn't hurt to put some foam blocks in there. We also have the Ductless Furrion Chill Cube available in White item # FR59TD. Why are you wanting to switch to a ductless setup?

  • Can the Furrion Chill Cube Be Used to Replace a Ducted Dometic AC
Hey Trent, yes you can replace your existing ducted Dometic AC with the Furrion Chill Cube # FR99TD. This is going to be a completely new system since they don't have any units that will work with your exisiting Dometic setup. This kit includes the 18K Btu roof unit, the air distribution box, and thermostat for a complete overhaul. Hey Mike! You can replace your Coleman Mach 15 with the Furrion Chill Cube. However, you're going to need the entire system since it uses the new R32 refrigerant. • Can I Swap My Coleman Mach 10 for the Furrion Chill Cube RV 18,000 Btu?
Hello P.S. I'm glad you reached out because this is a great question! This year, new regulations changed the refrigerants used in RV air conditioners, switching from R-410A to R-32. This is a win all around as it is better for the environment and more efficient. However, the downside is that parts are not interchangeable. Even if they physically line up, they won’t work together. Additionally, all new R-32 AC units require a different setup to prevent sparking, which could pose a fire...

Hey Jon; I was actually just talking to Furrion about heat options for the Chill Cube yesterday (1/21/2025). The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat # FR49TD (black) and # FR69TD (white) come with a wall mounted thermostat capable of running a furnace. **Edit** (1/27/2026) The Furrion Chill Cube with the heat pump is now available. • Can Furrion Chill Cube Replace Dometic Penguin II RV AC Units and Control Furnace
Hey Spencer, you can replacement your Dometic Penguin II AC Units with the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR99TD but these would both be considered single zone units that wouldn't be able to connect to a single thermostat. With that said the included thermostat is compatible with furnaces so you would be able to control your furnace from the Chill Cube thermostat. This will not be able to be controlled by your Dometic thermostat though.

Everything has moved to the new R32 refrigerant which requires complete replacement. Plug and play isn't an option since these aren't backwards compatible with old R410A parts.
