Will Fogatti InstaCool Ultra RV AC Work With Ducted System

Is this a ducted system? What else would one need for complete installation? Is it remote controlled?

Hi Jerry; do you have a ductless or ducted setup? For whatever reason the Fogatti InstaCool Ultra # FG72FR is only designed to work with ductless setups, no option for ducted is available at this time. If you have a ductless setup you will need the complete system which is the # FG94VR. This includes the air distribution box and remote. All of the new AC systems moved to R32 refrigerant this year following the 2025 EPA guidelines so complete replacement is necessary.
If you have a ducted setup I recommend the Furrion Chill Cube instead. This has a variable speed compressor and includes a remote as well. You can choose from the following:
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR39TD
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR99TD

Robin, the Chill Cube looks intriguing, because like Jerry I also have a ducted system. However I am not going to change until an 18K unit for Ducted install, with Heat Pump is available. I understand Furrion is making this for some OEMs, and Coleman Mach might be releasing one 1Q2026. Do you have any insight to these release dates? Any chance Fogatti is developing this unit for ducted also?
