Getting the right height between your hitch and trailer can make or break how stable your setup feels on the road. This drawbar gives you a 5" rise to help even out the tow line, keeping the trailer level and reducing sway or uneven load handling. With an 11-5/8" length from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, it provides a clean, balanced connection that tracks straight behind you.
When you’re hauling equipment, small campers, or utility trailers, you want something that won’t flex or fail under load. This Class II drawbar is rated at 3,500 lbs gross towing weight and 350 lbs tongue weight, giving you solid capability for everyday towing. The solid steel shank provides dependable strength so you can trust your connection even after repeated use.
Towing gear takes abuse from weather and road debris, but this one’s built to stand up to it. The corrosion-resistant, black gloss powder coat finish keeps rust and grime at bay trip after trip. Its high-quality manufacturing process includes CNC machining and a 7-stage washing method that leaves a smooth, clean surface built for long-term durability.
Sometimes simple is best. This fixed ball mount design means fewer parts to maintain and nothing to adjust—just slide it into your 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" Class II hitch receiver, secure it with a pin and clip or lock (sold separately), and you’re ready to go. The 3/4" ball hole diameter fits common hitch balls so you can quickly pair it with your trailer setup without extra steps.

Fits perfectly
This just arrived and fits like a glove on my 2006 Goldwing Trike, this is the only place I could find one like this. I can’t wait to try it out! If you need something for a trailer, this is the place, thank you Etrailer.
This extra-long, 1-1/4" trailer ball mount is designed with a graceful curvature resembling the neck of a swan. The trailer mount had the perfect reach & rise that I needed for my small, garden tractor fitted with a rear PTO.
I congratulate etrailer.com for having this uncommon part directly from their stock into my hands so speedily.
This was not my first fully satisfactory transaction with etrailer.com, and it certainly won't be my last! My thanks to all the staff at etrailer.com for such great products and service.
This hitch fits and works perfect on my 2001 Volkswagen golf tdi I have not got to tow with it yet once I do I will come back and add to the review!!!
Very easy to measure to see if it was the size I needed. Pictures were well presented. Also, impeccable customer service!
My second or third purchase from E Trailer and as usual I'm super satisfied. With the 5" rise on this drawbar, the trailer finally sits proper and makes it easier to load and unload the bike from the trailer. Great item! Great customer service!

Im still loving my E Trailer Drawbar. The new height makes towing a cinch! Love the customer service as well.
Received the products a couple of days earlier than expected that was great! The product(s) Drawbar and Ball, were more than expected. They are very well made, heavy duty steel and well built. It towed my small boat/utility trailer with ease. I would recommend these products. Robert R.

This little receiver has been solid. Use it to pull a small landscape trailer hauling brush and grass clippings with a subaru forester.
unit worked perfectly, I got the extended elevated ball mount for the receiver and worked perfect. after a while I found that I needed to back out of steep driveways slower so the receiver did not hit the ground. one thing that helped was replacing my original rear struts with an upgrade set. I needed to after 200,000 miles anyway. The wiring kit with your videos was easy and great.

Really good, useful and functional, pulled a few trailers hauling mulch and such.
The Curt Class II Drawbar with a 5" rise very nicely solved my problem when hooking up my two trailers to my Rave 4. The trailer jack was as low as it could go when it rested on the ball in my of setup. Now I have plenty of jack room to hook up and unhook. Thanks for your excellent product and service.

I still love your trailer hitch one year later! I know its very good because I dont think about it, its just there working for me whenever needed. Thanks.
The hitch on my Sienna is mounted low and recessed under the bumper so this ball mount has been perfect for the right height and reach for my boat trailer to ride level. etrailer is the only place I found what I needed. Actually I always look there first because they have such a good selection.

This ball mount is no longer needed for my boat since I now have a truck with a 2” ball mount but I still use it for my lawn mower trailer when needed behind my van. I can keep a 1 7/8” ball mounted on it. It is a solid piece of equipment.
It works... the finish is horrible. Nicks and spots with no paint everywhere. If I didn't need it so soon I would return it! It wouldn't be as big a deal if it was a rust proof metal, but it's not.
Nice product and easy to install the "Draw-tite Max-frame Trailer Hitch Receiver" with T-One wiring harness for Factory Tow Package- 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector...
I looked locally for a drawbar that would fit my 2001 Ford Taurus but couldn't find what I needed. Came to e-trailers where I've bought before and found this. They had a very wide selection. Perfect fit, great price, fast delivery. I would highly recommend this product and company.

It is exactly what I was looking for, thanks to etrailer, only which I would of did it 5 years ago,but didn't know they made them 1.25 inches. Thanks again Greg
A perfect solution. I bought a car with a much lower hitch mount placement.
Hitch is solid and install was 2 hours

A year later ! The ball and ball holder bar were backed into on the driveway by the landlord,,,,,after a simple inspection all was in good order except the landlord’s car ,,,,,
Here's the install on my 1995 E320 Mercedes Wagon. Thanks for double-checking and following-up on my order so efficiently. It was a good thing to get the long ball mount for a bit of extra clearance from the bumper.
Dang thig is solid steel!!! Wow!
This is a heavy duty full on class II hitch and it has the weight of quality. eTrailer shipped my order with professional speed.
Attached is a photo of it on my 2004 Honda Accord in its class I receiver noting that I have not yet fully bolted the hitch ball in this photo.
I just bought a Land Rover LSII. I pull a travel trailer so I had the dealer install a hitch. I discovered that the hitch was very low and under the bumper. I could not find a drawbar that would stick out far enough and go high enough to allow me to hook up my trailer. Until I found your drawbar (C45015). As you can see by the pictures, it's perfect. Thank you.
Vehicle: 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring (5-door hatchback).
Hitch: C11471 Wiring kit: Tekonsha 118473
Drawbar: C45015 Ball: C40018
See my previous review on the hitch. The wiring kit took longer than expected to install but went generally well.
The eTrailer instructions are good but miss what I consider to be a critical dimension. Note the picture with the ruler; the length of the drawbar must clear the rear bumper of the vehicle. The missing dimension is the distance from the center of the ball mounting hole to the rear of what I call the ball shelf. I now know that for my drawbar, this is about 3.5 inches; however, I did not know that when I ordered the drawbar and consequently ordered a longer drawbar than was required. I went by the distance from hitch pin to ball mount but had to guess whether it would clear my bumper which I knew needed at least six inches from the hitch pin center. No harm done but it would have been useful to know the distance from the ball hole center to the rear of the shelf.
My only problem is to get the torque on the ball nut to 160 lb-ft. My torque wrench does not go that high. I'll figure out something. Everything else is great!
Here's 2 photos of the finished product. Doesn't stick out very far which is fantastic, because it definitely would have looked bad on the back of a 2 door coupe GTP. As for installation, being a mechanic, all I had to do was remove 2 rear exhaust rubber hangers and the one right behind the fuel tank, lower the exhaust onto a set of jacks to support the weight. Then drilled 2 1/2" holes with a 90 degree drill. The coiled wires included with the parts saved me tons of time trying to get the bolts in. Overall, it was fairly simple to install. Torquing the bolts proved a little difficult. I would recommend you inform the customers that they'll need at least a 10" eye to eye reciever (I have the 11" one on mine) in order to clear the rear bumper and provide some space between the bumper and trailer tongue. As for the wiring, I cut a small slit in the rubber plug under the spare tire, ran some bulk trailer wiring up through it, under the tire, under the floor matting, to the right side of the trunk, behind the tail light. And up under the lid on the right side, is the tail light wire harness/connector. Test light confirmed which wires were hot, tapped into them and all the wires and lights are good to go. Just some extra info for the DIY'er that might be handy on the website so they won't have to search for it! Couldn't be happier with the hitch.
It was just what I needed for my trike and trailer

I’ve used the bar hitch several times and it still looks new. Great product!
