Width usually isn't a consideration when it comes to choosing a drawbar. Folks are typically concerned about getting a drawbar that places the trailer ball at the proper height so the trailer is level when it's being towed. I'll link you to our FAQ article about ball mounts/drawbars.

If by width, you're speaking of the hitch receiver size the drawbar is meat to fit into, the hitches we offer for the 2001 Volvo V70 are Class II, which use the 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 receiver (inside dimension of receiver tube).

The average trailer coupler height is around 16-17 inches, and the likely height of your receiver tube is about 11 inches, so you'll need a ball mount with a rise of around 5 inches like part # C45015. If you need a rise that's less than that, the # 3594 4 inch or the # 36061 3-1/8 inch might be a better choice. I've linked you to our Class II drawbars.
