Solid hitch receiver; it served us very well for its first long trip so far. My only complaint — and reason for knocking 1 star off the top rating — is that the heads of the long bolts on the drivers side were VERY difficult to access with tools to get them torqued properly. Inserting them in the first place also required more elbow grease than I had hoped. The etrailer video made the whole installation process look deceptively easy, but it took me 3 hours by myself with a set of ramps in the garage.
The hitch came in great shape and had a nice glossy black finish. The fit was perfect for my 2020 Palisade. I give it a 5 star review. The only problem I had was during installation and getting the rubber exhaust hangers removed to drop the muffler down to complete the install. I was on my back (no lift or jack) which made it a bit more difficult. Otherwise this was an extremely easy install and just as the instructional video described. Saved big $$ I am sure from paying someone else to do it!
I installed the hitch and wiring harness with no help in about an hour.
It’s been great on my 2020 Hyundai Palisade! I paid a shop to install it and they were done in 30 minutes! I like that the hitch bar is hidden.
This hitch is fantastic. I’ve used it so many times, I can’t believe I spent so much of my life not having one.
It was easy to install and continues to work like a champ.
LOVE IT. The YT video was the reason I purchased this brand. My past Pallisade the installer cut part of my bumper away and I hated how it looked. This hitch didn’t destroy my bumper and it looks amazing.

Hitch fit a 2024 Palisade Calligraphy perfectly. Very low profile, hoping my folding bike rack will fit. Takes some elbow grease at times and minor plastic cuts as described in the install video. This is a very doable installation for most people, assuming you have the tools you'll need, which isn't much. Some of the horizontal bolts are tough to torque due to the location and you definitely need ratchet extensions. Etrailer's install video couldn't make this install easier!

I was going to purchase, and have installed, a receiver hitch locally for my 2020 Hyundai Palisade but could not find a shop that could do it in time for a weekend trip. So, I decided I would purchase this unit from etrailer.com and do the installation myself. I received the unit within a few days which was great. I watched the installation video ahead of time to familiarize myself with the installation process.
I must say that it was super easy, and the directions were spot on. The entire install took me less than an hour. It would be helpful to have two people when it comes time to lift the receiver into place, but I managed to do it myself. Tools needed are a ratch or open-end wrench, plastic prybar or screwdriver, and a rubber mallet.
The receiver is solid and looks great. Clearance seems the same and I have not scraped the bottom of the receiver or anything hitched to it on anything so far. I have a steep street entrance apron and have not had any problems. I mount a 4-bike platform rack on it and it goes in easy and feels solid in the receiver.
Very happy with this product and the purchase process.

One year later and still happy with this hitch. No issues at all. I use this hitch weekly for bike racks and haul a trailer once a month. The hitch has worked fine.
We installed the CURT C13427 Hitch and CURT CU94FR Wiring Harness in my 2020 Hyundai Palisade. The hitch is very heavy. It takes two people to position it and put the first bolts in. Once you've got one in on each side, the rest is easy. The supplied parts were high quality and fit perfectly. The video showing how to do it on the Palisade was very good, but so too were the written instructions.
The CURT Wiring Harness was also easy to install and came with good instructions. The only thing I did different was wrap the 4 wires leading from the circuit box to the trailer plug in spiral harness wire wrap. I didn't like seeing those wires out and somewhat exposed.
I've seen the Hyundai / KIA factory towing packages. I think this combination from CURT and eTrailer is every bit as good if not better. And it cost a lot less than buying through Hyundai.

One year later Im still VERY happy with this hitch and harness.
Fast shipping, good quality, installation was easy, and looks great. Did flip some of the bolts for easier access. Not a big deal but instructions showed correct 17 and 19mm in the tools needed section but incorrectly stated 10 and 12mm in the torque instructions.
Sturdy hitch clean looks after installing much better than others I have seen. I found it easier to install 2 of the bolts in opposite direction 1 so I didn’t have to cut wiring cover on drivers side and 1 on right side because it was binding up when putting into hole in vehicle. Overall really nice hitch.

Product looks good, powder coat is nice, welds are great. Install went well. A bit tough. Especially getting some of the exhaust hangers off. Looks great installed. Color or brighter photos on the installation instructions would help.
This is a third trailer hitch I bought from my vehicles. Their are a quality hitch that is a custom fit. Very easy to install. If you need any help, you can go online and watch the video. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a trailer hitch to check out your website
Great hitch, perfect fit, strong and well engineered! Completely hidden except receiver, perfectly designed to have the needed clearance from muffler and spare tire. Easy install with no modifications to the SUV.

Great hitch, great finish, zero issues
Great instructions! Went on as-described. Holding bolts in-place while tightening/torquing was a little challenging, but doable with patience. Same with putting bottom plastic cover back on - bolts want to push it out of place - patience and a little pushing were required.

This hitch looks miles better on our Palisade then the factory version from Hyundai. The receiver is all that hangs below the bumper, which affords a clean look. I wanted 7pin wiring, so I ordered the T-one wiring harness (118784), curt 4 to 7 pin adapter (C57672), and the curt long mounting bracket (C57202). I made a 90 degree bend in the mounting bracket 1.5 inches from the end and mounted it vertically off the hitch. This resulted in a factory look with 7 pin wiring. The vehicle is equipped with a wiring harness capped behind the rear bumper cover behind the left rear wheel. There is full 12v trailer power, ground, left turn, right turn, brake, running lights, and and extra wire that I assume is reverse lights. The t-one harness used all but the extra wire, so I was able to tap into the wires in the t-one harness for power and ground on the 7 pin. I didn’t have to touch any wires on the vehicle prior to the harness. Install was easy, besides the required bend in the wiring mounting bracket.
I purchased this hitch from etrailer for my 2020 Hyundai Palisade and folks this hitch fit perfectly and looks good! It is even better looking than the OEM hitch Hyundai offers...the quality of this product is outstanding and I am extremely pleased with it!

This trailer hitch is exactly what u was looking for for my Palidade. The quality and price is absolutely a no brainer. I almost spend a fortune on OEM before I found Curt class III for my Palisade. Installation was also a breeze after watching the video. Everything fits perfectly and the only thing visible is the 2" tube. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend this trailer hitch to all Huyndai Palisade owners.
Quality hitch. Easy install. Took a little over an hour. I used a jack to hold the center of hitch in place for 1 person install. I mounted a 2" hitch adapter to back side of hitch so the jack could lift from center mass to hold in place better while bolting up.
Looks much nicer than the factory hitch. Fairly straightforward install. My vehicle has a heat shield that the installation video didn't seem to have, and that made things a bit more difficult as the washers wouldn't fit with the heat shield in place. Was able to find a work around. One thing to note is that the receiver is recessed about an inch from the end of the bumper. I'll need an extender to keep my bike rack from scraping against the rear of the vehicle. But towing something like a trailer shouldn't be an issue.
Easy install on my 2020 Palisade. Only a few modifications I had to make in order to get everything to fit just right. I had to reverse one bolt direction (From what the pictured directions show) so it would fit into the frame hole and not conflict with the exhaust heat shield. If I had to do it again I’d probably flip all of them to not conflict with other plastic pieces. Only two quibbles: 1) the first step has removal of the spare wrong. The palisade has this weird release contraption that is actually inside the rear cargo area. 2) the new hitch interferes with the spare tire location ever so slightly, but not a real concern at all.
This trailer hitch could not have been more of a pleasure to install. There is no fishing metal plates or nuts into the frame for bolts to go into or holes not aligning properly.
This hitch could not be made more perfectly for the Palisade nor could the installation have gone any smoother. It truly is a bolt on hitch with a lot of space to reach everything. It took me less than an hour including cleanup time.
The hitch looks fantastic as the only part you see is the receiver (totally different than Hyundai's hitch (which is more than double the price) which the entire bar is hanging down and hiding that beautiful chrome bumper! It may not be as hidden as Stealth Hitch but it is a fraction of the price.

5 STAR +++ rating. etrailer.com had the lowest price I found on the Internet and Super FAST shipping!!! I ordered the hitch on Saturday morning and received it on Tuesday before noon. It arrived in a heavy duty carboard box with no shipping damage. Install was pretty simple, except for torqueing down the bolts on the exhaust side. Took one to hold a wrench and one to Tighten the nut. However, for being 67 years old I was pretty happy I could handle the install with a little help, especially lifting it into place(with help) and putting the first couple of bolts through the frame on each side. I like the clean hidden look much better than the Hyundai factory hitch. I added the 4 wire connector bracket to the bottom of the bumper cover by drilling two 3/16" holes in the lower black trim and attached with #10 1/2" bolts and nuts. I like the way that everything looks and no wires hanging down. I did reverse the bolt on the driver's side that was not able to go through because of a plastic piece being in the way. Overall I very pleased with the Curt hitch and with etrailer.com
etrailer made this very easy. Fast shipping and the install videos were spot on. Installed this hitch on a 2021 Hyundai Palisade calligraphy edition and no modifications were needed. The hardest part was getting the exhaust hangers off. Once everything was out of the way, install the 8 bolts (but wait to tighten until they are all in). Then torque them down. Much better looking then the OEM hitch as you don’t see the full assembly but only the receiver.
As many people have probably figured out with the 2023 Palisade there is not currently available the hidden behind the panel hitch. I could not wait until Hyundai figures themselves out for a tow hitch so I went ahead with this one. It is an excellent quality hitch. I installed it by myself. A FEW TIPS: don't put bolts thru without the washers like in the video as this just adds extra steps, just put them on when you put it in place originally. You also dont have to take the furthest forward muffler holder off. Do yourself a favor and jack up the back end of it to torque the bolts and make sure you have a 19 mm box wrench because you have to have one due to space issues. Other than that it's extremely straight forward.
As far as etrailer goes: I purchased my last hitch for my previous vehicle on [online] due to price a few years ago. This time I ordered on [online] instinctively then checked etrailer and immediately cancelled my [online] order and ordered from here. The hitch was cheaper shipped with tax than the base price on [online]. There are many positives during the experience (they called within 10 minutes of me submitting my order to verify my address and email. It was purchased on the 17th and arrived on the 19th. BUT what really set them apart is the last hitch I got from [online] was just wrapped in shrink wrap and was dented and dinged horrendously, to the point where I had to hammer a portion straight for holes to line up. etrailer sent it in a hefty box, and it was secured 360 and was in perfect condition when it arrived. Their install videos are also top notch. Great experience, will buy from here going forward.
