  • Will the 2-1/2" B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System Provide Tailgate Clearance?
  • Hey Frank. I can give you the dimensions of the shank on the B&W Continuum item # BW28FR but you're going to need to take the measurements on your Silverado 3500 to confirm the tailgate will open. From the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball is 11-3/8". 4" above that measurement is where the top of the hitch ball sits. You'll want to measure 10-1/2" out from your hitch pin hole and 4" up to see what kind of clearance you have. Then you'll want to measure the thickness of your...

  • Is the Andersen Aluminum Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection 3220 the 3rd Generation?
  • Hey Steve. The Andersen Aluminum Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection 2 Gooseneck version item # 3220 is the 3rd generation. So long as your 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500 has a gooseneck ball like item # RP23FR you'll be able to connect it. You'll need to take some measurements to see if you have enough clearance. The Anderson item # 3220 has three height adjustments 16-3/4" lower position, 17-7/8" middle position, and 19-1/8" upper position. This is measured from the bed of the truck to the top...

What trailer were you thinking of putting it on?

  • How Far Down Does B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount Hang For Clearance On 2021 Silverado 2500
  • Hi Richard! From the top of the shank to the lowest part where the tri-ball sits on the # BWTS20067BMP is 11.125". If you have the balls at max drop with the tallest one hanging down that would be 12.5". We recommend at least 11" of clearance between the ground and the lowest point to avoid hitting steep driveways or curbs. What are you towing with your Silverado?

  • Recommended Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box for a Lippert 1116 and 1716
  • Thanks for the information Rick! I can't give you 100% yes on height clearance but I can give you the specs on the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY48FR so you can take some quick measurements that will answer your question. I will say this is an extremely popular gooseneck pin box that is commonly used with newer Silverado's with 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths. If you look at the diagram I attached below you'll see the the two measurements labeled C/L Ball....

  • Replacement Leaf Springs for Montana HC 330RL 2020
  • Hey Jurijs, the correct leaf spring replacement you'd need is the part # e94SR which is the correct length and capacity. Springs tend to stretch and flatten as they wear out so what you have being a little longer would be correct for the # e94SR. There isn't an alternative to this spring that would be more ideal either. Since your axles would be 3 inch in diameter the correct u-bolt kit would be the part # APUBR-8 that you referenced.

  • How Are Shackle Bolts Measured?
  • Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out. The measurements we list for our shackle bolts is the length under the bolt head, not the overall length. For example, the Zinc Shackle Bolt # TRFA73Z916DLNZ is 3" long. That is the length of the shoulder, bolt and threads, not including the head of the bolt. I've included a picture showing the measurements. Are you needing just a single replacement bolt? Or are you looking to replace all the bolts and shackles on your trailer?

  • Replacement Leaf Springs For A 2017 Keystone Fuzion 371 5th Wheel Toy Hauler
  • Hey Mike, Was your measurement for the leaf spring length taken while the trailer was sitting on the axles or while lifted with the axles hanging? As the springs wear over time they lose their rigidity and can start to flatten out, which can cause the trailer to sit lower. You'll want to lift the trailer by the frame and let the axles hang to get a more accurate measurement of the springs. The amount of leafs in the spring isn't as important as the capacity of the spring since there...

  • Correct B&W Companion Hitch Base For 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed With Factory Puck System
  • Hey Al, welcome back. You are on the right track here. The Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVB3710 will drop directly into the puck system in your 2024 Silverado 2500 HD. All of the Companion hitches use the same head unit, so all you'll need is the new base for your new truck and you can re-use your old head unit. The hitch will have plenty of weight capacity for your 5th wheel, so no worries there. One thing I did want to mention is this; typically...

  • Replacing/Upgrading Axles On A 2017 Jayco Whitehawk 27DSRL
  • Hello Ken, thanks for reaching out. The first thing we will need to look at here is the length of your current axle. Axles are measured across from hub-face to hub-face, and we will need to be sure the new axle is identical in length to the current axle. There is no way to look this up using the make and model or trailer, so your best bet will be to get under the trailer and measure. Or there should be a sticker on the axle tube that shows the weight capacity, spring center length and hub...

  • Correct Replacement Grease Seal for a Dexter 5,100 lbs Axle
  • Hey Jason thanks for the picture! The correct grease seal for a Dexter 5,100 lbs axle is item # RG06-070. As far as the bearing buddy size goes, I can not tell you which one you need off of the axle tag information. I am going to need you to measure the hub bore on one of your trailer's hubs using a digital caliper like item # PTW80157. You'll need to measure down to a thousandth of an inch or 3 numbers past the decimal point. Once you get this information go ahead and throw it into...

  • Dimensions for Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C12005
  • Hey Paul! Awesome, awesome ride... So I went out to our warehouse to take those measurements on the Curt Class I Hitch # C12005. The outer mounting bolts measured 54-1/2" apart, on center, while the inner bolts measured 50-1/2" apart, on center. From the center of the rear mounting hole to the front mounting hole, I measured a distance of 13-3/4". The rear mounting holes are spaced apart by 52-1/2", center to center. I attached a diagram I made to clarify those dimensions as well. I...

  • Hi Jay; are you asking if the Buyers Products 15 Ton Swivel Type Pintle Hook # 337BP100A can be mounted to a horizontal plate so the pintle hook is facing up or down? The pintle hook should be horizontal which would be mounted on a vertical plate. You can use any size mounting plate as long as it has the capacity you need. • Footprint of the Curt A25 5th Wheel Hitch
  • Hey David, the Curt A25 # C16180 will work with your 8' bed and is not a sliding hitch. You don't need a sliding hitch with an 8' bed since the bed is long enough. This hitch will just drop into any standard set of 5th wheel rails, and will be ready to roll. What kind of dimensions do you need? I can tell you this hitch has a 22" x 29" footprint, but if you're looking for something else, let me know! With your trailer being 18k, I'd get either a 20 or 25k so this hitch is perfectly fine...

  • Hi Eduardo, The Access TonnoSport Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover part # A22020139 is a confirmed fit for your 1996 Chevy Silverado C/K pickup with 6' bed and with the stepside. The # A22020139 is designed to fit inside the rails with model specific clamps and has a low profile so it will only sit 1/2" above the bed for a smooth look. Its reported length is 78" long which matches up with the 77.5" that you measured on your truck currently. It doesn't list the width of the cover, but since...

  • What Are the Mounting Hole Measurements for the TowSmart # TS68ZR Trailer Hitch?
  • Hello Matt, Thanks for writing in! I see that you have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado entered in our fit guide, so I do want to point out that the TowSmart Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # TS68ZR is not a fit for your Silverado. This hitch fits 2018 - 2028 Subaru Crosstrek excluding Hybrid. TowSmart does not provide the mounting bracket measurements you were looking for. Since these are custom-fit hitches, we typically match the hitch to the vehicle rather than going...
