Hi I can’t fine measurement for the covers my 1996 silverado step side measures 77.5 long by 49 inches wide inside the bed rails can you help with a suggestion

The # A22020139 is designed to fit inside the rails with model specific clamps and has a low profile so it will only sit 1/2" above the bed for a smooth look. Its reported length is 78" long which matches up with the 77.5" that you measured on your truck currently. It doesn't list the width of the cover, but since our site has confirmed it fits your year, make, and model of truck we know that it will work because we've tested it.

Thank you for your help and such a quick answer. Yes when I did look and put the year make and model it just gave a one size fits all for the measurement inside the bed across the wheel well. I know it’s asking a lot but wouldn’t it help to list this as a specific measurement. Thank you for all you do to help us.

@EduardoB I totally understand what you're saying about the tonneau dimensions being listed. However, the reason the manufacturers list the fitments by the year, make, and model of the truck instead of dimensions is because trucks can have the same length and width bed but actually have different dimensions based on bed rail height/width, stake pocket locations, cargo systems like the RamBox, tailgate design, bulkhead shape, etc. Since all these features can be different, they have to design the tonneaus around the specific truck to make sure the tonneau fits and seals perfectly.

Hi, I bought this for my 1992 Silverado stepside and it fits perfectly and it is of high-quality. Make sure you fully read the instructions but it’s not hard to install. highly recommend.
